I was completely bewildered as to how he managed to track down Marcus and me.

It seemed likely that someone at school must have given him Marcus's address, perhaps one of the students or even the principal.

I had kept my own address a secret, so nobody knew where I lived.

“Please ask him to leave. I don't want to see him," I pleaded with Mia, already frustrated.

She swung the door open, and there stood Zayn, looking like a mess with his tousled hair and all.

“Security!" I shouted from the dining room, annoyed as hell.

“How could you just let anyone into the house? Is this how you do your job? Haven't you been explicitly instructed not to allow anyone inside?" I scolded.

"I'm sorry, ma'am," the male security guard apologized.

“Just escort him out, and make sure you don't make this kind of mistake again, or else you'll be fired," I sternly warned him before turning away and retreating back into the house.
