Happy married life to our latest couple. Cheers 🥂
Ethan's POVChloe and I got to the venue earlier than most of our guests, so we just stayed in the helicopter for a while, enjoying each other's company. We were mostly quiet, with me staring at her the whole time, marvelling at the fact that this amazing human was now my wife. After some moments of sitting together, we decided to go in. The venue was located at one of the penthouses I own in the city. Chloe decided to go into a private room to change into something more comfortable, and I followed her.We were not surprised to meet Bonnie already there, making sure everything was in order. She narrowed her gaze at us."The wedding is not over. What are you doing with her?" She teased us, and Chloe rolled her eyes."He's mine, Bon. Get over it."We all laughed."Where is Ari?" I asked her."She fell asleep. She's with Marian now in another room." She answered, before her eyes went to my hands that was still linked to Chloe's. "You are going to have her for the whole night and the rest
Ethan's POV I opened the door to the large and luxurious room we were going to be spending our wedding night, and Chloe gasped as she took it in. Rose petals was scattered on the floor from the door to the large white bed in the middle of the room. Scented red candles were arranged neatly, giving the room a warm, intimate glow. "Wow..." She exclaimed softly, her eyes on the bed. From the way she clutched her own dress, I could tell that she wasn't harbouring holy thoughts. I too was struggling to keep my desires at bay. Since we were separated, I had dreamed numerous times of having her in my bed, feeling her soft skin, having her roll and squirm underneath me. And seeing her today, in her beautiful wedding gown and throughout the reception, knowing that she was my wife, and having her close to me all day was torture. I swallowed, thinking of all the ways that I was going to explore her body tonight. "I need to shower." Chloe said to me, her voice coming out breathy, like a
~A week after the wedding Myles' POVEverything had been going well for everyone. Chloe and Ethan left the country for their honeymoon, leaving their daughter with her grandparents. Bonnie had gotten a place for fashion house, and she was already starting up, and I could not be more proud of her. She was such a big dreamer, and she not afraid to chase those dreams. The only down side right now was me and my total inability to let the past be.I wanted to know more about my mother, if she was still alive. And if she was dead, I wanted to know if she died a natural death or someone killed her. I wanted to know if my earlier years would had been different, perhaps better if she was there with me.I wanted to learn about my father, and know the kind of relationship they both shared. I had told myself a number of times to let it go, and be grateful for the life I have now, with the woman I love, but no matter how hard I tried, the question lingered, haunting me like a ghost, hovering arou
Myles' POV The ride home was quiet, too quiet that I could hear the sound of my own heart beat drumming in my ears. I usually listen to music when I was driving alone in my car, but I didn't feel like that right now. For a while, I thought I had escaped and landed myself a fairytale life, but I was wrong. Maybe my present seemed well, but the past came back to bite me in the ass so hard, knocking me over. My mind was filled with the thoughts of my parents, Melissa and Myles. I was even named after my father. They believed that they had landed the fairytale ending too, but life showed them it's true face, the face of cruelty. I had gotten to experience love, and I would say that it was a truly powerful feeling, overwhelming in every sense of the word, a potent force that could consume one's entire being. So was bitterness. So was hate. So was rage. It was an all consuming feeling, digging deep and slowly eating away at one's life. Vengeance. Revenge. Pay back. That was all I could
Myles' POV I went to the address Carol gave me to search for Grace. It was a small neighborhood in town. According to Carol, she was the last person to see my mom before she disappeared, and I could not help but wonder what kind of relationship they had. I knocked on the door of the house, and the door opened to reveal a young dark boy, about six years of age, staring at me cautiously, as if trying to figure out if I had come to hurt him or not. "Who are you?" He asked, his eyes wide with curiosity. I truly didn't feel like entertaining any child now, but what choice do I have? "Do you know any Grace?" I asked, making my voice as soft as possible. He shook his head. "There is no grace here." I nodded. "Sure. No Grace. Who is home?" When I saw that he was still staring at me with those big judgemental eyes, I had to try to appease him. "I promise, I am a friend." "I don't know you. You are a stranger. Mama said not to talk to strangers." Great. At least he has a mother
Bonnie's POVMy fashion house was taking shape, and I was thrilled with it's remarkable progress. While I had leveraged on my new connections to anticipate a strong start, the reality exceeded my wildest dream. And the icing on the cake, a visit from Victoria Queens, the fashion icon herself. Anyone who was a bit close to me knew that I had always adored her. She said she had seen some of my work, and she was a fan. Some girls from the fashion academy abandoned it, and decided to join me here, Myra included. This particular day, I met someone I did not expect to ever see again. Someone that hurt me in a way that I would never forget. And he dared to show his face here. One of the girls led him to me, when I was busy crafting out a very complicated style for a client. This was definitely not the time for me to entertain such a person."Hey, baby." The foolish guy dared to talk to me."Kelvin!"Even the sound of his name coming out of my mouth was irritating to me. This idiot scammed me
Bonnie's POV Myles took me to see his newly found family today, and they were all so happy to meet me. Grace was a sweetheart. She had two sons and a daughter, and they all had children of their own, and they were all home. Myles usually did not like noisy environments, but he did not complain even though the children were practically trying to bring down the roof with their noise, the one he introduced as Jason in particular. He was just happy to be with them. And I really hoped that this new happiness surpasses his need for revenge. I fell asleep when we got back home late in the evening, and I woke up in the middle of the night when I heard the door opening and closing. I sat up, and my eyes narrowed when I saw Myles walk in, dressed in a black trousers and a black hoodie, instead of his night wear. He was holding some stacks of paper in his hands. "Did you go somewhere?" I asked suspiciously, and he nodded. "I paid that guy, kelvin, a visit." Oh boy! I had told him about the w
Bonnie's POVI watched with racing heart as Myles backed away, his expression not revealing anything. My head was already coming up with different scenarios, and I hoped to be wrong in most of them."Myles?" I called softly, and he drew in a deep breath, closing his eyes. "You haven't said anything.""I know, I..." He placed both hands on his face and let out another sigh."You don't want it?" I asked again, trying to keep my voice steady."Fuck, Bonnie, I'm sorry." He moved closer, while I still stared at him in curiosity, trying to figure out what he had in mind."You are sorry for what? Acting this way or not wanting the baby?" My voice came out way sharper than I intended. I didn't want to come to any conclusions yet, but it was hard. He didn't look happy to hear the news."I don't think I can do a baby right now."I moved away from the counter, my eyes filled with disbelief as I looked at him. "I don't understand. Make me understand.""Bonnie...""Don't Bonnie me. What do you mea
