Chapter Twenty-Five

"We need to talk"

"We don't have anything to talk about, you already made that obvious this morning"

David takes slow steps towards Valerie, her eyes not parting away from him.

"I'm serious Val"

"So is Val and not Valerie. You are hilarious, David"

"I'm sorry, I over reacted"

"You overreacted, I told you that she was lying but you didn't believe me. She wants you and you know it!" Valerie was furious.

Now she was aware that Lisa isn't her problem, it's Ms. Wang. She wants what was hers and that is never going to happen. Valerie was not going to give David up to any woman. He was hers alone and no one was going to take him away.

She averts his gaze and picks up her mobile phone. "I have a meeting right now, maybe you should leave. I'm sure your little Mistress is dying to be in your arms right now"
