Chapter 312: Suspect

Margaux stared at Hendrix as her face became blank. She did not know whether to believe him but she promised herself that she would not make an assumption that he was lying without investigating first.

Shutting her eyes momentarily, she then let out a sigh.

“What is he saying, babe?” Daisy queried when she noticed her reaction.

She took a deep breath before she shifted her head towards her cousin.

“What’s wrong?” Daisy quickly stood up and rushed towards her upon seeing her reaction.

Maybe it was written all over her face because she was not really good at hiding her fear and disappointment. She could suppress her tears but her eyes will shine from keeping it from falling. her cousin, of all people, knew when there was something bothering her.

“Babe, tell me what it is,” Daisy cooed.

Her grip on Hendrix’s hand tightened as she tried her best not to burst out. Hendrix just mentioned her uncle but there was really no context if he was the one who was supporting Roxanne or he mean
