Chapter 295: Scared

She squeezed her eyes with her knuckles, thinking she was just seeing things. However, when she saw Hendrix’s father show up behind Wilma, that was when she finally realized that it was real.

‘What are they doing here?!’ her mind screamed internally.

She was already hysterical. Her heart suddenly felt weak as her knees wobbled.

Meanwhile, Dinah turned to her and put her hands on her shoulders. “Babe..” she muttered.

Her eyes were wide as she stared at her cousin and her heart went wilder upon seeing Dinah's somber expression. Suddenly, she wanted to run away and hide somewhere. Feeling something bad was about to happen, she wanted to go as far as she could away from them and rather be clueless.

“I changed my mind. I wanted to go home,” she said.

She was about to remove Dinah’s hands off her shoulders when she saw the latter shaking her head as if warning her not to do that.
