Chapter 291: Blame

Margaux’s body went frigid upon hearing Hendrix’s name. Her mind went blank as her insides were shaking.

‘Hendrix?’ she thought.

But then she quickly shook her head, denying that she just heard the name wrong. It must be a different name and only sounded the same as Hendrix. There was no way he would be the patient there since she had just met him yesterday and he was very healthy. That’s just absurd.

However, there was a nagging feeling in her and she knew she wouldn’t be at peace thinking about that. She was about to ask the nurse for confirmation, but she realized the two were already quite far from the elevator as well as the elevator was only a few gaps to close.

She closed and opened her hands repeatedly, not trying anything to call them out. Her gaze was fixated at the closed doors while her head was in mess.
