Chapter Seven: Magazine Clippings

Marianna's POV

"Signora, are you busy? Do you have a moment?" Jenny knocked once on the door that is slightly ajar.

I'm in a mad rush to compile a fall collection for the New York Fashion Week. Of all the places in the world, New York is my least favorite but it's part of the work. I have no choice. I have big clients there.

"Yes I do. Come in." I pushed aside the sketch book making room for the cup of tea. I'm very blank today. My creativity levels are sub zero. Once she set it down on the table she didn't leave. She lingered with a lot of uncertainty in her movement.
