CHAPTER THIRTY TWO: THE BIRTH OF SURPRISE

Alexander’s POV

I have my eyes pinned on her, pacing, waiting for her eyes to open; I plan on scolding her, drilling her with tons of questions— my head racing with thoughts, frightening thoughts, imploding thoughts.

For one, who the hell was that woman last night?

And my prayers are answered, she stirs awake, her eyes fluttering and slowly they open— blue, hazy and shy.

Shy? Shy? No Angel, you can’t just turn shy this morning. You have freaking questions to answer.

“Who are you?” I scowl, driving a frightening gaze into her.

She moves, straightening out in bed so her back dug into the pile of pillows.

“Speak Catherine, who the hell are you?” I glower

You break my clutch, run me wild, push me past my limit, an Angel indeed.

She swallows, her face shifts with embarrassment but I don’t buy it, how could I? When she grinds like the devil.
