"My mother is getting sick and is now in the hospital," Edric said to Irene who was seen sitting in front of him.
The two of them were in a university cafe where Irene taught. "So, so what? What's that got to do with me?" asked Irene curtly, That surprised Edric quite a bit because Irene didn't care about his mother's condition after all time they spent life together. "I want you to meet her. She misses you so much!" asked Edric to Irene who even didn't have any excuse to look his eyes. "No," And Irene refused his request, she looked very strict when she spoke. "I'll pay you for it." Edric made an offer, it seemed he was imposing his will. "No," And Irene still refused at that point. "Don't make me force you, Irene!" With such a cold tone Edric spoke. "And I will curse your mother to 'die' right in front of her if you keep pushing!" replied Irene, delivering a surprising threat. The woman seemed to smile mockingly at Edric. "Irene!" Edric tried to stay calm when facing Irene, even though he wanted to be angry. "My time is up. There's nothing more to talk about and don't bother me anymore!" asked Irene who had stood up and stepped away, leaving in a rush. "No!" But her steps stopped when Edric had stood up and gripped the woman's wrist tightly. "Whatever it is, I'll give it to you, so I beg you, come see my mother!" "Main house out Dorian, how?" Irene replied offering, "......." And Edric fell silent, deep in thought. "Just forget it!" Then Irene removed her hand from the man. "Okay," And before walking away, she was surprised to hear the answer from Edric. "All right," then she stepped back, "I'll give it but… marry me!" "Are you crazy? You think I'm out of my mind?" "What I mean, it's just enough to pretend. I also wouldn't leave Lucy," said Edric, making an offer to Irene smiling in pain, recalling all the miseries she got from her step-sister. "Ahhh… but, I want Dorian's main house and everything in it, including all of your servants who let you torment me while I was there and also who helped you slander me?" Irene also made an offer, "....." And Edric fell silent again. "Okay, forget about that illogical agreement! I'm too lazy to meet your mother even just once," said Irene, who had stepped back. She smiled gently when she saw Cayden, her best friend sitting in a chair by the door of the cafe, waiting for her. Meanwhile, cafe customers were also seen standing outside because the cafe had been specially ordered so that Edric could talk alone with Irene. "Okay, fine," Edric replied in agreement, "Then stop walking! I still have something to talk to you about," Edric asked as he took quick steps to catch up with Irene and then forced the woman's body to turn around to see him. "What else, Bastard? Let go of my hand! You've wasted so much of my time and there's nothing else for us to talk about. Can't you see there are a lot of people outside this cafe still waiting for us to leave? Come on, Edric, just end this conversation!" asked Irene who had removed Edric's hands from his upper arms. "You don't look serious about this agreement, Irene. What about our contract? What about a sign of agreement? I don't see you actually agreeing to my request," Edric replied, looking to hold back his emotions, "You just need to make a contract and I sign it, right? That's it, that's enough and we don't need to talk about agreements or contracts before it's all made," Irene replied starting to turn around again, turning her back on Edric. "You're so annoying!" She left Edric who seemed to be standing, looking at her back in awe. Meanwhile, Cayden had been waiting for Irene to come out of the cafe. He looked with an irritated face at the woman. "Sorry Cayden!" "What are you guys talking about? Why are you guys talking so long in there?" Cayden asked the woman who seemed to smile gently at him. "I just need to visit her sick mother. That's all, nothing else," Irene replied together with the cafe visitors who had entered inside. "I don't believe it. I'm sure you're hiding something from me," Cayden said in a serious tone and he kept walking. "Ah shit!" cursed Irene who felt guilty, "Why don't you trust me? I am your best friend. Even though you keep having sex with other women I am still by your side but why don't you trust me who is always with you?" Irene spoke in a high tone, she stepped to catch up to Cayden who had taken the first step. "Bullshit!" "Come on, Dude, don't be so rude to me!" asked Irene who had approached Cayden then released the man's backpack, and made Cayden stop his steps, "Give me that bag, Cayden!" Irene asked the man who kept walking without even looking at her. "The data I need is in there, isn't it?" asked Irene with a cheerful smile, "No, this time I won't give you results. Just work on the data you need yourself!" said Cayden who was furious, he pulled his bag and stepped back. "I promise that after I meet his mother and complete her request, I will stop teaching and meet your parents!" said Irene, That made Cayden startled and stopped his footsteps. "Are you sure?!" "I never break my promise, unlike you," said Irene, confirming her words. "Ohh, then come over here and give me a hug!" ordered Cayden who appeared to be standing next to a tree, the edge of the main road. "Damn, this one jerk man!" Irene said with a gentle smile then stepped quickly, "Promise me quickly!" She hugged Cayden and heard her request. "I promise you." Then she answered the man's request. "I really feel very strange when a woman who is going to marry me hugs another man," said a male voice standing behind Irene. And Cayden was in shock and constantly released the hug for the woman with great surprise. The half-opened curtains allowed a chilly breeze to drift into the room, further cooling a space already set against the backdrop of a crisp 15°C day.The room was vast, furnished with a refrigerator, a plush bed, a wardrobe, and a desk.Irene sat on the edge of the mattress, while Edric loomed over her, watching her with such intensity that it felt as though he might swallow her whole in a single gulp."Yes, I agree," Irene replied to Edric’s question, which, naturally, left him beaming and clearly invigorated. He shoved her, forcing her body back onto the bed. Her spine hit the mattress with a soft thud."Good, Irene," Edric muttered, unable to hide his impatience."But… I’ll only let you kiss me after you meet me later.""What is that supposed to mean?" Edric offered a twisted smile. He felt as though he had been swindled yet again."Let me leave first, and you can kiss me an hour from now, once you've found me!""What kind of games are you playing now, Irene? Stop messing with me!
"So, the only reason you made me meet those conditions just to come here was to humiliate me, right?" Edric said, stripping off his jacket and tossing it onto the bed. "I didn't expect them to put us in the same room," he added, striding toward Irene, who was standing by the window. The barred window was taller and wider than Irene, framed by heavy gold curtains neatly tied back on either side. Irene was staring out at the bustle and beauty of the city center.Edric wrapped his arms around her from behind, his hands locking around her neck as he rested his chin on his own folded arms."Get off me! I’m not in the mood to be bothered," Irene said, letting go of the window bars she had been gripping."Why? Are you pissed off because I managed to keep my temper in check?" Edric asked, burying his face into the crook of her neck."Move!" Irene recoiled, feeling completely uncomfortable. She yanked the curtain in front of her, closing off half the window, and after forcibly prying Edric’s h
"Stop!" Irene snapped, her voice high and sharp. The driver, who had been ferrying them away, was forced to pull the car over to the side of the highway, which was bustling with other vehicles."Where are you going now, honey? We made a deal—you asked for conditions, and I’m holding up my end," said Edric, who was sitting right next to her.Edric gripped Irene’s arm tightly."Move! I’m not trying to leave," Irene shot back, beyond frustrated with Edric’s antics. She shoved his hand away with her free arm and scrambled to get out of the car."Irene!" Edric panicked. But as he moved to chase after her, he saw that Irene had already climbed back in—only now she was in the front passenger seat."I’m sitting here. You’ve officially lost your mind," she spat, her face twisted with rage."Hm," Edric let out a soft laugh.Without a word, the driver stepped out of the car."Where are you going?" Irene tried to stop him, but Edric’s hand shot out and caught hers, planting a kiss on her palm."Y
“Young Master has just got this, Madam.” A servant informed Madam Dorian while the woman seemed to sit on the park bench with Irene. "Hmm... How Irene?" "What do you mean, Aunty?" Irene smiled faintly, "Ahh hmmm... "Do you happen to suggest me to take revenge for Edrick's behaved badly?" “As you wish.” Madam Dorian gave her an answer as she began to walk, leaving Irene by herself. “Irene!” Edric called. He seemed to be walking with A head servant behind him. She glanced at Edric who had just arrived and just passed his son. “Mom!” He ignored Edric's calls. “Well, Dude. Can't you just stop your actions to look for where I am? I feel sticky as if you were a leech, then I can't help but to disappear from your sight.” Irene walked after talking. She remained to sip the tea she was holding, still sitting on her spot. Edric walked as his servant realized something, then he left Edric. He thought to give them time alone. "Do you change your mind already and agree to this
"You can't let Edric kick you out of his home. We don't get anything else as that dumb man has given all his assets to that bitch." Edric opened his eyes while he heard the familiar sound of a woman. 'What's going on?' He touched his head though he began to take a sit up. "Don't worry so much, Mom. Edric even commanded his employee to bring him to come home. Mom, Edric used to love me for good." "That Madam Dorian won't allow you to get along with his son. It's better for you to bring Edrick out of his mother." "Her mother is getting sick. He will never leave her alone." Edric slowly stood up even though his head felt very heavy. He thought back to being with Irene and was worried that she would run away like before. He walked over to the shut door and opened it. "Lucy, are you there?" "Oh, Edric. Have you woken up?" "Do you see Irene, anyway?" Lucy was surprised to hear Edric's question, who was leaning against the wall by the door when he came closer to her, so was his mot
"Babe, I want to make a cup of coffee. Do you want me to make you too?" Irene started to stand up after she sat on the bed earlier. Her gaze was blank looking at the glass window that was locked tightly but could see outside the room which was quite dark. "Edric, would you not hear me to not bother me anymore? Are you out of your mind or is there something wrong with your brain? I want to be by myself here and I don't want you to stay beside me. " "You are mine. So why could I go far away from you?" "Tsk!" Irene could not do anything at that time. He was even forced to let all of Edric's whims act like a lover for him. "What do I have to do as you want to leave me alone and get away from my sight?" "You wanna make a deal anyway?" "Perhaps, I need a deal so you do not go around me again." "Okay, deal. My whims is for you to walk back to Dorian." **** "Pull out!" Irene asked Edric to stop the car midway as they headed towards Dorian. "I don't think it's good." "I need t
"Now… who else do you think you have but Dorian mere?" Edric whispered as his face was above and very close to Irene's. His breath was so warm, it probably touched the skin of Irene's face who looked at him hatefully. Irene probably remembered the day she was still living with the Dorian family and
