ISABELLA.

“Yes, I'm Maxwell's wife.” I said again, raising my chin up slightly.

James eyed me up and down, before drifting into his thoughts and widening his eyes in surprise. “Your Hannah?”

“Yep, that's me right there.” I pointed my fingers towards myself, laughing nervously again.

“How? You know now that I think about it, you two do have a striking resemblance.”

“How would you know that? Have you met Hannah before?” I asked. He sounded a tad too specific, but James was already thorough. So thorough sometimes it scared me.

“Yes, once I went to their mansion. She has a tiny mole on top of her lip that apparently, no one noticed. You don't have that mole.” He said resolutely, as if he'd just finished pitching a business proposal.

My blood ran cold.

What are the odds that James would have been here? Extremely possible.
