"Nick, I don't think we are on the same page. Don't get me wrong, I am fond of you, but I don't see us in that space.”

"Oh, that's alright. See you around," he said casually and left me there. He got back into his car, while his driver drove off.

"I walked back to the office and explained what had happened to Amelia.

'I feel bad, but I don't like him like that,' I said to Amelia.

'Don't feel bad since you don't like him like you like Josh,' she wiggled her brows.

'Oh shut up, what has Josh got to do with this?'

'Everything, my dear,' she said, rolling her eyes.

'Am I a bad person?'

“No, not at all.”

'Well, he brought food,' I said.

'You should have said that before starting all this pity party sermon.’

'Foodie,' I said to her playfully."

"I'm happy I let my feelings known to Nick so he doesn't get the wrong impression that we are already dating, and more so, I don't see myself with him. I don't feel that spark or anything with him.

I continue with my work. I'm happy Josh is no longer
