Chapter Fifty-Seven

Josh's POV

"What is going on here?" I wonder. "It's like they know something I don't, and it's killing me to be in the dark." I ask again, "What's going on here?"

Looking toward Harper, I notice her eyes are as big as saucepans, and she seems to be wishing I didn't know what was happening.

I'm losing my mind. Suddenly, Harper starts gasping for air, as if she’s being choked.
