S4: Chapter 1: Relief

So far, the two whole weeks Hope stayed at the Walton’s mansion; was the best week she has ever experienced.

Day by day, she would meet Kinsley and she was glad that his bruises were beginning to heal, especially when she sneaked some medication from the maids who were also aware of what his father had done but didn’t seem to care that much.

At least the maid, Ana was kind enough to give Hope that but made her a promise to not let anyone know or else she will get in trouble for giving a first aid kit bag and paracetamol to another 10-year-old.

It did seem to help Kinsley and when Hope introduced Alissa to him, Kinsley’s father was there too and he looked concerned by how close Hope was with his son.

Pretty hard to believe that the thinning hair with pot belly man who claims to be his father was even related to Kinsley. The only thing similar between them was their moss-green eyes.

Alissa is suspicious of the mark on Kinsley’s face, exactly what Hope is hoping for her to see b
