S3: Chapter 18 : Past Present

 

Alice inhale deeply, the deepest she has ever inhale since coming out of the hospital. Slowly she exhale and stare forward. Walking and basking in the peaceful environment around her. 

Giselle walks beside her, continue to speak and telling Alice about her days for the last 10 days she was away in the hospital. It's pretty nice to smell fresh air and nature rather than smells of medication all day. Embracing the warmth of the sun and hearing laughter of kids and family's around her made her feel alive.

Her movement was a bit slow since she had sat and lay down on beds for more than a week so her tummy still feels a little discomfort when she moved. Giselle notice this and bring her to the side of the walkways and look at her with an utmost concern.

“Are you okay, Alice? You want to get some rest?” 

Alice nodded.

“Sure, just...not here. Bring me somewhere less people.” As much as the visitor in the park was like a fresh of breath
