Smells of medicine and strong scent of antibacterial cleaning products fills her nose and she Alice realised that she wasn’t in her home anymore.
As she starts to regain consciousness, the bright light in the room was almost blinding and it hurt her eyes. She sit up and brush down her face before trying to focus on her surroundings. She was in a hospital. With her own room and seeing how fancy it was with art decorations on the wall, flat screen TV in the middle of it and fancy sofas near the open space.
She even has a window with gorgeous view of the city and she felt dizzy just by staring at it. A small throb jolted inside her head and she look around to find something to drink until her eyes caught something.
Her eyes widen in shock to see Harry beside her- sleeping and lying his head on the edge of her bed. He was sleeping soundly and from the way his shirt was untucked and hair slight mes
Ten days have passed and Alice was ready to go home. Sitting in her wheelchair and staring at the drive-thru while waiting for Harry to pick her up. The nurse who pushed her there left and she just stares ahead. Releasing a long sigh and just lean comfortably backward. Her feet taps on the floor as a minute goes by but when her gaze found another patient beside her, Alice felt a sense of heaviness resting on her chest. The female patient was wearing a beautiful floral gown and in her arms was a baby. A girl, no doubt seeing the little angle was wrapped in a pink blanket while her husband was carrying some bags and a baby carrier. The woman was cooing her child while the husband looks at them with so much pride and joy in his eyes. Alice just continues to stare at them longingly. She barely realizes the car in front of her and when Harry touches her arms, she gave a sharp gasped and turned to face him. He frowned at her and knelt down so their face was the same height
Alice inhale deeply, the deepest she has ever inhale since coming out of the hospital. Slowly she exhale and stare forward. Walking and basking in the peaceful environment around her. Giselle walks beside her, continue to speak and telling Alice about her days for the last 10 days she was away in the hospital. It's pretty nice to smell fresh air and nature rather than smells of medication all day. Embracing the warmth of the sun and hearing laughter of kids and family's around her made her feel alive. Her movement was a bit slow since she had sat and lay down on beds for more than a week so her tummy still feels a little discomfort when she moved. Giselle notice this and bring her to the side of the walkways and look at her with an utmost concern. “Are you okay, Alice? You want to get some rest?” Alice nodded. “Sure, just...not here. Bring me somewhere less people.” As much as the visitor in the park was like a fresh of breath
Alice has spent a week not seeing Harry and it’s not because she was avoiding him but he was just wasn't there throughout the time she was at home.Alice knows that he was avoiding her and every time she would see him walk down the stairs or walk past her at any room in the house, he walked past her like she didn’t even exist and she felt kinda hurt by his behavior.Be it as it may, she can’t help but think how maybe he too was hurt by her words. It was pretty much a bitchy move to say those things to him after weeks of him taking care of her with the utmost care, the best room money can buy, the best food including the best doctors around the states. He was dedicated, affectionate, caring and she had repaid that by being ungrateful and uses harsh words on him. They spoke after the day she returns from the hospital and to be honest, Alice kinda misses all the attention he was giving her when he tries to reconnect with her. She felt pamper
The dining room looks amazing. The chandelier on top of the marble table and everything from the lighting and decorations was so gorgeous and being away from homemade her forget how Harry would hire a personal decorator to personalise the house, making different design every couple of months. Not only Alice was in awe at how the room looks, but she was also happy and super proud of herself with how the dinner meals look. She spends all day making sure the meals were versatile and delicious even with no help. The chef today called in sick and rather were taking the replacement chef for that night, Alice volunteers to make the meals all by herself. It was something she likes to do when she had grown up in her grandmother’s home. Making hearty meals that she had to learn for her so her family could enjoy it as much as she loves making it.She set up the delicious casserole, perfectly cooked steak with a generous amount of mashed potato and mouth-watering grav

I have a job too and it was overwhelming. This story will be done by this month {Crossing my finger so hard for this one :') } Take care and stay safe guys.Love, Diana...Lying on the bed with the TV on, she just stares ahead and looks at the wall. Mind totally filled with Ryan and it wasn’t good. Alice was already in her beige silk nightgown and her face was scrubbed from all makeups. She still has a tinge of pinkness on her cheek and her lips have always been a light pink. Something she has inherited from her father and thanks to her Italian mother, she had thick brows which she would shape
“So, how are you and Harry going along?”Alice sips on her warm tea and returns her gaze to her mother-in-law.“Oh, we are going along great. We’re doing fine, Eva.”She just grinned at Alice and nodded.“You can tell me, Alice. Even though I’m not your biological mother, you know I love you like you were my own, don’t you?”Alice stares at her for quite some time, debating about what to tell her since she obviously knows nothing so to tell her the truth is not an option. Eva would get a heart attack if she knows what his son did. It was time to come up with something different.“I know. It’s just that... it’s complicated. A bit of a fight but nothing much. Normal couple stuff.”Eva glared at her suspiciously for a second and sighed. She looks pretty disappointed.“Alright. If you don’t want to tell me about what’s going on, then I u
“So... how were you and mom today? Did you two had a good time gossiping?”Alice rolled her eyes at him but smiling when that happens.“We weren’t gossiping. Just like how you and dad weren’t gossiping about football. That is so sexist.”Harry chuckled. “What so sexist about me asking my wife what she and my mother talk about? Chatting is like gossip and gossip is like… when you talk about someone. You did, didn’t you?”Alice took a sip of her orange juice and Harry laugh. Stretching his legs and folded them with his back leaning on the sofa near the fireplace.“Who was it? Tell me, I’m dying to know. Can you imagine mom used to do that with me when I was a kid? I could've sworn that she wanted a daughter but poor ol' me, I was a good enough substitute I guess.”Alice laughed and slowly made his way to sit on his lap. She even hears him groan and he spread his leg
Alice stands in front of Harry, adjusting his coat and shirt while their maids slowly bringing his working suitcase into the car. There was even a small lunch box prepared for him and the sight of it just tickle his guts.Harry laughed. “ That lunch box will make the boys laugh at me. I’m not a kid, Alice.”“Yeah?” She snorted. “Well, you got a wife that cares about your well being and about what you eat in that office of yours, surrounded by nothing but junk food and dairy shit. I mean, do you even have lunch shops every single day??”“ I don’t actually. When you’re a billionaire, it’s pretty nice to have the ridiculous amount of restaurants around New York that I can go to. I doubt my client enjoys going to restaurants with....what’s that again? Junk food and dairy shit.”“Sure but a lunch made from your lovely ol' wife is better than any of that, don’t you t
