Chapter Thirty- Eight : Hot and Ready

Daniel was sitting beside Alissa who is looking outside the car window. Her face was void of any emotion. He tilted his head to look closely but her full face was facing the window, looking out at the skyscraper around them as Randy drive past them.

Only when Daniel touch her hand did she wince and turn around, looking at him with a hard stare. Slightly angry but scared too. He look down at her hand and saw her palm has a bit of a purple hue on it. A huge difference with her other hand and Daniel proceed to pull it towards him despite her objections.

He proceed to pry open her palm that she had tried to close as tight as she could but when Daniel gave her an angry stare, she gave up. Eventually sighed and let him check her swollen palm. He gently runs his thumb over it. His blood was boiling deep inside of him.

Alissa was hurt under his care. The fact that even a gentle brush along her palm had caused her to flinch made him extremely furious.
