Chapter 53

It was diner time, all the family members sat round the dining table. There was silence throughout the dinner.

Mr Gilbert was the first to stand up, he reached for the napkin and used it to wipe off his mouth, then he strolled to the living room and sat down on the sofa. Mrs Gilbert stood up next, they all left the dining table one after the other.

Sonia was uncomfortable till the end of the dinner, she had to force herself to eat.

"I need to ask Marissa about this, everything doesn't seem right at all." She muttered and made to clean up but Andrew stopped her.

"I know you won't yield to the doctor's advice but I force you to." Andrew threatened.

"I am bothered by something, I can't even eat my dinner properly." Sonia said with a sad face.
