Richard POV

“Okay, let’s go,” Julien tells me as he opens the interrogation room. I walk past him out of the room, and I take a deep breath. We’ve been in here for around eight hours, and I am ready to go home back to Layla. I bet she is stressing out and knowing my family the way I do, and I know they are there making her life miserable.

“You need to behave from now on, you will be in front of the judge in three days, and I can’t risk you going around and ruining my good work,” Julien says, and I rest my head back on the headrest of the car.

“Since when do I go around doing anything reckless?” I ask, and he raises an eyebrow looking at me.

“Well, since you met Layla,” he tells me, and well, I guess he has a point, but that guy was touching her;
