The days passed like yellowish leaves until reaching the present moment:

"Shh, be quiet," he whispered, motioning him to remain silent. His clear gaze remained fixed without even blinking, just like the rest. "What day is it today?"

"What kind of question is that?" he replied with a furrowed brow, answering with another question. "Today is Tuesday," he muttered.

"We should all be in class, right?" the brown-eyed one said, looking at everyone at the same spot.

"Exactly," they said in unison. "But... we don't have class today."

"Ah...," they all said.

They were all sitting on the couch, looking over it towards the table a few meters away. They just observed, trying not to make any sound. They watched as someone came in and out of the living room, until finally sitting down and doing what they had said, doodling.

"Will she get better?" he asked, resting his arm on the back of the couch and his chin on his hand. "Several days have passed since what happened, and..."

"Belinda," he interrup

That hurt like nothing else.Everyone knew that.Because of that argument, Jisoo had to stop seeing Harry for several days, and two days later, he asked her to be his girlfriend. She was happy and sad at the same time about everything that was happening with her friend."It was horrible," Bam interrupted her thoughts."In what way?""In how you yelled at her that time.""She started it," Jisoo defended herself. "She hurt me first.""But not as bad as you," Iu said, and Jisoo sighed. "Understand that Katherina is broken. She doesn't know what she's saying.""And what does that have to do with her taking it out on me and Harry? Remember that because of her, I can't see him.""You can't see him because you don't want to," Carlos said, and Jisoo gave him a dirty look. "Katherina went through a deception that even I, as a man, wouldn't want to experience.""She's not well," Min said after a while of silence. He looked towards where Katherina was, watching her erase and redraw over and over

Katherina moved her cellphone away from her ear. She left it on the table and began wiping the tears from her cheeks with the sleeves of her wrists. She fidgeted with her hands and fingers, feeling indecisive. Taking a deep breath, she closed her eyes and furrowed her brow. When she opened them, she looked towards the corner of the kitchen, seeing everyone watching her.She cleared her throat."What do you want? Weren't you all talking about your own things out there?" she asked, trying to adopt the ungrateful attitude she had been showing these days. She took a quick spin, wiping away her tears, crossed her arms, and leaned back against the kitchen counter. "Just mind your own business, and I'll mind mine.""Katherina..." Min said. "Are you okay?""Excellent!" she exclaimed with a forced smile."That's not what your teary eyes reflect.""So now I can't cry because I feel bad, right?""Don't get defensive," Bam requested. "We've been listening to you and putting up with you all these

" I infinitely appreciate that you helped me bring him that day," he said while they were in the living room. "Would you like something to drink, Collins?"" No, thank you, Dominic. What I want is for Tom, besides getting better, to stay away from Katherina," he said in a serious tone, and Dominic nodded, letting out a sigh. "Since when has he been dealing with the pressure?" he asked, crossing his arms due to the brunette's fainting spell a few days ago." He doesn't suffer from it, it's just that, as the doctor explained to me, he experienced a drop in blood pressure due to all the distress," he replied, and Collins nodded. "I didn't think he would react like that to everything that happened."" Pay more attention to him," he suggested. "Mrs. Nikki," he said as he saw her enter from the second floor. "How are things up there?" The doctor told me that Tom hasn't been eating properly for several days," Nikki said, causing Dominic to furrow his brow in confusion." But how? I myself h

Everyone was heading straight to the university. Katherina was with Belinda and Jisoo, who were trying to uplift the brunette's spirits. It had been quite difficult to get her to be with everyone today on the way to the university, but they succeeded.Min was talking animatedly with Iu, and they would sometimes burst into laughter. It was incredible how Min managed to get into the university just to be close to her friends. Definitely, having Idris as a god in the eyes of the principal and the director had its benefits."Those two..." Belinda muttered, looking at where Iu and Min were, both very cheerful. "There's something about them.""Since Min arrived, they've been inseparable. I guess they like each other. Don't you think?" She now looked at Katherina, who seemed a bit distant. "Katherina..."After a while, the brunette spoke up, her smile somewhat forced. "Yes, Belinda? Well...""Katherina, I'm asking you, don't give up.""I'm not doing that," she replied, greeting some friends

  • The Betrayer.   Broken.

The heart is the central organ of blood circulation, which in the lower body is simply a dilation of a vessel, and in the upper body is muscular, contractile, and has two, three, or four chambers that adequately support its function. However, on the other hand, there is something that will never help and is quite clear: the intermittent pain felt in response to words that tear apart. That's how the heart felt, whose beats were screaming to stop. His brown gaze remained fixed on that spot where Katherina was before she left and uttered those words.Simple. I don't love you anymore. It repeated over and over like a scratched record in his mind. He couldn't hear the slightest noise, only the sound of his heart, breaking."Tom..." someone called, passing in front of his face, their hand extended. "Hey." They patted his cheeks until they managed to make him look at them. "Brother..." Their blue-eyed gaze turned sad as they looked into his eyes. "Enough, I beg you," they said, wiping away h

It is unlikely that an act would have the same effect on everyone.I'm referring to Tom, of course, anyway...How would you react if, in order to accept an apology, someone unexpectedly kissed you?Exactly. That's what happened, that's what everyone saw. Both hands on her cheeks, bringing his face closer to hers, and his lips touched hers. Surprise struck, both the boy himself and everyone in the hallway. And that resulted in..."You're forgiven," she said, smiling at him, and the boy, with a crimson face, smiled back, and it seemed even wider. "Isn't it lovely?" She looked up and asked her friends, who looked on, unable to believe what they saw. "What? Anyway..." She looked at the redhead again. "What's your name?""I'm called...""What the hell are you doing?" Her voice sounded angry, a voice she recognized.Katherina looked ahead."Mother!" she exclaimed upon seeing her standing a few meters away with her arms crossed. She quickly stood up, and the redhead did the same. "What... ar

Everything done at the pace of the victor receives, from that, the satisfaction's stride. It was a small phrase that had been said from his lips with such grace and arrogance that now, it only refutes itself in the worst ways, internally."Tom! Tom!" he shouted, trying to catch up with him, running until they reached the outskirts of the university. "Take me," he muttered between his running. When the hell did he start running so fast? He wondered, already internally annoyed. "No, I've got you now!" he exclaimed, finally reaching him and grabbing him by the arm, breathless. He took a deep breath. "Enough... Stop struggling with me!" he yelled."And you, stop following me! Get out of here, Harrison. I don't need you to be...""Shut up! I'm not leaving here, I didn't run all the way down that damn hallway to turn back around," he interrupted, and Tom started saying so many things that only made him angrier. "You. Shut me up. I'm the one talking, I'm here, and I don't give a damn if you

"Alright... Are we officially a couple now?" he asked, looking at her with his dark blue eyes. "Should I call you 'my lady' or 'my love'?" he asked, and she laughed. "I'm serious," he said."You can call me whatever you want." She kissed his cheek, and he smiled. "Did you manage to get them all?""The papers?" She nodded. "Yes, they're all here. I just need to give them to the director." She said as she put the papers in her backpack. "Hey..." She looked at the others. "Is there any problem with...?""I need to talk to you," he interrupted with seriousness. "Both of you. I want to know when my daughter started dating someone else." He crossed his arms and noticed her daughter's twisted expression. "I saw you, Katherina.""Mum, what do you want him to say?""I've never seen you around here," she evaded her daughter's question and looked at him. "You're not from here, are you?""No, ma'am," he replied, pulling on one side of his backpack. "Uh... I'm from Santa Monica, California," he ad

"What was that?" He frowned slightly as Tom pulled out of her and heard whispers behind the door.Tom, still panting, grabbed his light green long-sleeved shirt, got up alongside Katherina, handing her something from the closet. Cautiously, he went to the door, turned the doorknob, and as he opened it, two bodies fell to the floor. He looked down, seeing Justin and Jisoo, both red as tomatoes with nervous smiles on their faces. They clumsily got up from the floor, and Tom crossed his arms, looking at them with a raised eyebrow. "Can we know... what were you doing behind the door?" Katherina asked, putting on her blouse and standing next to Tom, who was staring at Jisoo and Justin, unwavering. He was standing with his arms crossed, emphasizing his muscles and his slightly clenched jaw. That melted her, but she looked back at the two boys. "You said yes!" Jisoo exclaimed excitedly, grinning. "You're getting married." "So that's... what you were doing..." Tom spoke. "Listening to what

"Are you ever going to stop looking at me?" Katherina asked Tom, who was standing by her side, his gaze fixed on her. "No..." He caressed her cheek, both of them still naked, covered only from the lower part of their bodies. "I never want to stop."Katherina smiled slightly, not showing her teeth. She closed her eyes, savoring the touch of Tom's fingers on her cheek. She sighed and felt Tom's lips on her temple before kissing her lips. The kiss was sweet, gentle, with no desire to ever stop kissing each other."I will love you to infinity. That's something no one can deny. I tried in so many ways to get you out of my mind, and the truth is, I couldn't. I realized I can't be without you, you're the only one I want with me, the only one, oh..."Tom looked into her eyes and smiled; it had been so long since he heard her voice, heard her sing. Katherina kissed his lips, nipping at them. "You're the biggest inspiration I have, Tommy." She whispered close to his lips. "Don't ever make me.

  • The Betrayer.   What do you think?

"What do you think they're doing?" She asked while standing outside the venue. "It's been two hours since we left them in there." "Rough sex, perhaps?" He said with a mischievous tone and laughed. "Those two..." "Shut up, Harrison." Belinda requested, and Hazz just stuck his tongue out. "I still can't believe that it worked."Neither Belinda nor Hazz knew about the rest's plan. In fact, they doubted that Katherina would go along with it.But she did.And that showed them that she still loved him, they both did. After leaving them in the room at the venue, they decided to go back and just think about what might have happened."... I'm going to go in." Justin said, and Maroon stopped him. "What?" "I think it's better not to go in." "They're in the room, not outside. Besides... I want to know if..." "No way!" The rest shouted, and Justin laughed. "You want to see everything." Daya said. "That room must be a mess." His eyes turned mischievous. "They must have had a lot to do in two

Every part of his body was electrified, and it was no wonder. His dark eyes were fixed on Katherina's eyes, feeling his lower part harden. Katherina pressed him closer to her, and their intimacies collided."Katherina...""Tom..." She took his face and simply kissed him.The atmosphere was too tense, their breaths were ragged, and their heartbeats racing. Katherina made certain movements, causing their sexes to rub against each other. Tom let out a moan near her mouth."Please... I'm begging you," Katherina gasped, placing her hands on Tom's chest. She was against the wall, and Tom was holding her.Tom moved his lips to Katherina's neck, leaving short kisses there. He missed doing this, he missed kissing her, having her beg him, not pushing him away.Katherina let out a moan as his lips touched her ears, nibbling on them. She pulled Tom's hair, roughly capturing his lips, biting them, kissing them passionately."I love you," she said, and Tom looked at her. "I never stopped. I tried,

Her throat closed up, and only her face sunk into the hollow of her neck. Her gasps were audible, her tears were felt; she truly said everything she felt.Like she had never done before. She was against the wall, and faced with everything that had been said, she couldn't help but break down in tears. Both of them were in tears."Please, Katherina." Tom said with a sob, looki

  • The Betrayer.   Moment.

Katherina was looking at Bam, realizing as he saw her that apparently, all of this was yielding a different result. The least expected outcome happened. Her breath rose and fell somewhat quickly, she felt somewhat detached from her body, her heart was beating strongly, and in the face of it all, she felt her ears hurt. She looked at that facade and as she did, she furrowed her brow, tears ran down her cheeks, tears she tried to suppress."Katherina...," Maroon said while standing in front of her. "What's happening?""The photo..." she responded in a low tone. "It's just... Where did they get it from?""Why the question?" Justin spoke. "What matters is that apparently you liked it, it affected you too much," he murmured with a sigh. "Did you like it or not?""Where did they get the photo from?" she asked again, looking at Justin with a hardened expression."I don't know. You tell me," he said, arms crossed. "I don't understand why you want to know. It's just a photo.""A photo that not

  • The Betrayer.   But.

"Oh my God!" she exclaimed with concern as she saw him enter. "Tom... What happened to you?" "Nothing, Mom," he replied as his mother checked his nose. "Mom, that's enough. It doesn't hurt." "But who the hell hit you like this?" asked her father. "It doesn't matter." "What do you mean it doesn't matter?" asked Sam. "One more punch, and you won't have a nose." He just frowned. He headed towards his room, taking for granted what his parents and siblings were yelling at him. He threw himself on his bed, covering his face with his hands, taking a deep breath, thinking about the idea that Daya had given him. He was nervous, doubtful. Truth be told, if this didn't work, he would leave it all behind. That caused his heart to tighten. With one hand, he took his cellphone out of his front pocket. He saw several messages from his parents, to which he didn't respond when he had left, and his parents thought something had happened to him. He just deleted them. Afterward, he chatted a bit wit

  • The Betrayer.   Me.

Take it or let it go, take it or let it go. You know perfectly well that all the suffering you feel, you totally deserve it. I think you're getting the point, baby... You crossed your limits, now you're here among the streets, thinking, "Now, who will I take as my beautiful origami?""It has to be some kind of joke," he said, removing the headphones from his ears. It seemed like the song was speaking more than he thought, and that filled him up. He let out a sigh and looked at the shops that were there before reaching his home. He saw one that was open and remembered that Katherina worked there, but he never had the chance to visit. (Or maybe he just made excuses not to go.) He crossed the street carefully and, standing in front of the shop, he rang the doorbell several times. "Come on... Someone... Hello!" he said, making a gesture when a man with long hair and dark eyes appeared on the other side of the door, looking at him. The man on the other side stared at him and then called so

"Definitely not worth giving her anything," Tom said after several minutes of walking back home with Harrison. After what happened at Katherina's house, Nadia thought it would be best for them to leave. Tom seemed more downcast than ever, gazing at the street floor with his hands in his pockets.Harrison placed his arm over Tom's shoulder and gave him a half-playful hug, ruffling his black hair. "She's the one missing out," he said. Tom looked at him as if to say, "Did you really just say that?" Harrison shrugged. "Sorry... Chocolate makes me say silly things," he chuckled, taking another cookie from his pocket and stuffing it into his mouth. "Wipe that look off your face," he asked Tom."I'm tired, Harrison. Bored. Look at what I've become," Tom held the broken necklace in his hand. "If only she knew that I'm just as broken as this necklace, maybe even more," he sighed heavily, burdened with pain. "I hated how, before leaving, Will showed up, and she just jumped on him and kissed him
