Chapter 64.

Destinee POV.

Waking up, it is already dark. I am laying on something hard yet warm. I bolt up, looking around.

“Hey, calm down baby, you are in our room.” I turn to look at Titus beside me and I take a few deep breaths.

“How did I get here? I was at the lake. What happened?” I ask, looking down at him and he moves to sit up. He turns on the bedside lamp and I squint and blink.

His hands are placed either side of my face, and he searches my eyes. What the hell is going on?

“I could feel through the bond something wasn’t right. Aura told Orion you had fainted before she fainted, too. So we ran to find you. Baby, there is something I need to tell you.” I furrow my eyebrows.

“Oh, I remember feeling tired and the lake then laying down. But everything is hazy. What happened? What is wrong with me?” I place my head in my hands.

Titus pulls me to his side and places his arms around me. I place my hand on his chest and he rests his chin on my head.

Okay, I get she’s an Alpha, but I think she’s obsessed with being recognised as one. If I were her I would postpone the damn ceremony.
