Chapter 127: Secret and truth

The wedding was a success and one of the loveliest ceremonies I have ever been to, and I was glad to have been a part of it. We had planned to be each other's chief bride's maid, so this wasn't up for questioning. I told her I was available if she wanted me, and she told me she wasn't changing her mind about her first decision. It was settled.

Ingrid looked the most elegant in her ball wedding dress and veil. Her hair, unlike at the party last night, was in a braided form and held to the back with a pin.

"This is happening." She said as her car came to a stop right before the chapel.

I nodded and took her hand into mine; she turned her attention to me. "This is happening; today, you will become a wife to Fermín Martínez, the man you love-the man that loves you."

Her eyes blurred. "It feels like a dream." She admitted.

"It is as real as it is ever going to get." I reached out with the hankey and wiped her tears off.
