Chapter 1

Jack, Seventeen-years-old

"Oh, yes, yes! Jack, fuck me harder!”

“Fuck, Crissia, you are so fucking tight and wet for me, baby girl. I didn't know you wanted to be fuck out in the woods? I’m not from this pack, so I could care less if we get caught but I would prefer not because this is Greenway Pack, territory of my friend Atticus, the future Alpha. By tomorrow, I will be long gone for anyone to notice or press charges.

I'm the second born, the title of Beta will go to my brother Simon.

“Are you okay with this?” I double check with Crissia. “Yes, Jack, I wanted this.” Crissia moans with her eyes closed. She is a lovely chick, tall and already building a toned body; with light blue eyes and cherry blonde hair, she makes a gorgeous warrior. She is a couple of years older than me, so I'm still dumbfounded with the the revelation. 

I remember her from this morning’s training. I thought she was being competitive when she offered to spar with me, but I never suspected the reason behind it. So is a total surprise for me to know she wanted me to take care of her V-card.

She-wolves don’t tend to wait around for their mates; they would be as active as any other ordinary wolf. It’s in our blood to be horny. Is only when we find our fated mates that we settle down and become faithful for the sake of our bond.

“Are you okay to continue?” I ask in concern.

After a couple of minutes, we recompose ourselves, “Thank you, Jack. That was amazing, just how I imagined my first time would be.” I caressed her chin and place a tender kiss on her lips. Crissia gleamed with happiness and I watch her trot back in the woods as if she had won the ultimate prize when she was the one giving herself to me. 

“It was my pleasure. I will never forgive it.” Lies. I would probably forget her as soon as I’m out of this pack. 

I shifted into my wolf to run faster towards the woods where I last saw my friends. Why couldn’t we all share a mind-links? At least that way the four of us could stay connected. I only Reese and I share a mind-link because we are from the same pack, Moonshine Pack, located in west Andorra. 

Others in the group are from the New Eclipse Pack in the east and Greenway Pack. We are the remaining packs in Andorra, all packs have an alliance to protect our borders from poachers. They are the worst threat to werewolves. My Alpha has a good relationship with Alpha Tyson, Atticus’ father. Atticus has been my friend since attending the same Academy for ranked wolves and soon will leave to start a four-year training at an university for mythical creatures.

Early today, Atticus  was favored with his wolf earlier to the astonishment of many, we witnessed a quick and marvelous transformation. We believe it was due of being a red moon night. I find it unbelievable how Atticus withheld the painful process for the first time. He crouched in all four limbs to sprint into his wolf form in a matter of seconds. He howled at the moon in his magnificent shiny black fur beast.

Soon after, Atticus disappeared into the night leaving us three in the dark. What should I tell Alpha Tyson now that we’ve lost sight of his son in the woods? We had it all planned: Simon, Reese, Atticus and I were supposed to run together to the lake after Atticus’ first shift to celebrate his coming of age. I got my wolf a couple of months ago but it wasn’t under a red moon. It is said that werewolves who gain their wolf under a red moon are blessed by the moon goddess with extra strength and abilities.

Atticus was supposed to wait for us to go to the lake together. Reese’s voice through the mind-linked sounds irritated

I know, right? But I could swear I heard him say, ‘Catch me if you can, suckers,’ before completely transitioning into his wolf. I replied.

Fucking Atticus. The butthead knows that we don’t know this territory. Let’s turn back; I don’t want to get lost out here.

Why not keep running? Maybe you can catch his scent so we can track him. Any clues on where he took off? I questioned Reese, the tracker of the group.

I’m annoyed that Atticus stood us and has not been found.

Sorry, I’m afraid I don’t have a scent to follow. We’ve been searching for half an hour; we better go back and find help. Reese concludes.

Yes, we better go back. I’m starving.

After running further into the woods, we stopped trying to track down Atticus and decided it was best to return to the pack house.

When we reached the front entrance, no one greeted us. Fortunately, we knew where clothes are stored in case of emergencies. It was easy to pick up shorts and t-shirts.

Going straight to the kitchens, we noticed Omegas working busy for tonight’s party. As soon as we passed the door to the main hall, the aroma of cupcakes and something else mixed in the air invades my nostrils. I got carried away, just like in the cartoons I watched as a kid, I felt floating instead of walking.

”What do we have here?” I say as soon as I cross the threshold.

”Looks like a little mouse is busing herself.” Reese comments when his gaze falls on a petite Omega swinging her hips at the beat of music coming from her earpods.

Simon walks up to me, noticing the girl dancing and singing while washing the dishes. She looks cute in her leggings and skirt that hugs her petite frame. I’m enthralled and not paying attention to my brother. Instead, I’m curious if she tastes as good as the cupcakes on the counter that I’m salivating over. If so, I’ll keep her to myself.

My wolf's attention is peeked too. I notice it because I instinctively slide my tongue over the seams of my lips in a hungry gesture. Down boy, she looks to be a couple of years younger than us., we don't want to scare her.

Suddenly the girl is aware of the intruders in her kitchen, "Hey! What do you think you’re doing?" she screams at Simon and Reese when they reach for the tray of fresh cupcakes. "That’s for tonight. Don’t you dare eat any of it, gluttons.” There is fear in her voice, but she is determined to confront us. Admiring.

Maybe she doesn’t realize it, but she is not a submissive Omega.

A feisty Omega, you don’t see that often. The voice of my wolf surprised me.

"What did you call us, little mouse?” Reese questioned angrily, making her flinch back. A growl escapes my lips, furious with my friend for harshly talking to her. I don’t know why, but I’m protective over her.

"Don’t you know who we are?” Simon intervenes from the entrance. He pulls from the wall to trot his way into the kitchen.

"Who do you think you are to give us orders, little mouse?” Reese enter her personal space to sized her up and down, smacking his tongue in delight.

Blood boiled my veins knowing what the dick of my friend thinks about fresh meat, "Leave her alone; she’s just a kid.” It did not scape my attention her alert eyes studying my every movement.

(Tsk) You always look out for the most vulnerable, Jack. Is that your mission in life now?” Reese teases.

"Yeah, Jack. What do you plan to do?” Simon, who had been silent until now, adds.

The girl looks shaken up but her defiant eyes gives me an idea of how my boys and I can have a little fun.

 I looked at Reese, grinning mischievously. "Let’s play a little game, shall we?”  It’s not the first time we’ve cornered some random girl to play.

"Not so fast, Little Mouse?” My friend gets hold of the Omega's arm before she can make an escape. To my surprise, she puts up a fight, though her efforts are futile. Reese is a brawny redhead, 6′2, and a training enforcer.

“I promise it'll be fun.” I showed her my Cheshire cat smile.
