Joshua and I packed enough clothes to last over two weeks, just in case. When we were done, we went downstairs and found everyone back in the conference room. When we walked in, we noticed an extra man sitting next to Alpha Lucien. I smiled and approached him, “Alpha Rinehart, it’s so good to see you again!” I held out my hand to shake his, but he took that hand and pulled me in for a hug, “Oh. My. Goddess. It is you. Child, I tried so hard to look for you. When I found out that Alpha Ben had you, I tried so hard to get you out of their hands. I’m so happy you have your pack back and you have such an excellent mate.” I smiled, “Thank you. It was the Goddess’ will that I went through all that I did. It toughened me up to become the Alpha that I was born to be. I’m fine. Now we need to deal with a threat that could, potentially, affect every pack around you. It’s already threatening mine. I’m trying to keep my pack from realizing the threat is affecting them.”
