It took me a little longer to reach the parking lot because the kids kept blocking me and trying to keep me away from Kierian. For a minute I thought Liam was on my side because he helped me get to the parking lot. Just before he left his words stung.

“Don’t think this means we are good. You have no idea how much you hurt him. If it were me, I would end your life before you took your next breath. You have really disappointed me. I thought you were going to be good for him.” Shaking his head, he walked away before I could speak.

Finding Kierian standing next to his car, my mind completely went blank. Everything I meant to tell him tonight or what I needed to tell him now, just evaporated into nothing. It didn’t help that when I was standing directly in front of him, I didn’t know what to say or how to start apologizing.
