Chapter 2-I'm Afraid that it's Improper

Yun Muxi almost spat out a mouthful of tea. Although she did not spit it out, she choked herself, which made her coughed with her hand covering her mouth.

Zhao Yi immediately handed her a tissue. Yun Muxi took it and nodded politely.

She finally held her breath and stopped coughing. She explained, "What a coincidence that I look like your ex-girlfriend! Meanwhile, it's my honor to meet you in person."

Yun Muxi changed the topic. She said calmly, leaving no flaw. Gong Yu raised his eyebrow gently, with faint coldness in his eyes.

Zhao Yi did not notice the awkward atmosphere. He smiled politely to Yun Muxi and said, "Xiao Xi, your story is really incredible. I think Gong Yu fits the role of Mu Lengyu perfectly. Gong Yu's appearance and manner are in conformity with Mu Lengyu. It's seemingly tailor-made to him.

Gong Yu remained calm. He looked at Yun Muxi indifferently. Yun Muxi responded with a light smile.

The heroine Zhen Ai spends one month in another world after time-travel for the first time. I think the period is too long. I hope the relationship between the hero and heroine can develop more quickly."

Yun Muxi became serious and explained after listening, "The heroine always feels insecure because her parents seldom accompany her in her childhood. She suddenly travels to another world, so she is terrified. Besides, the heroine had many pursuers at school, so she seems a bit confused about boys and does not know how to contact with boys. Given all those factors, if their relationship develops too fast, I'm afraid that it does not make sense."

Gong Yu listened to Yun Muxi's explanations carefully. Each one of these words touched his heart. He lifted up his eyes and looked at Yun Muxi.

She pretended to not care about his gaze and took Zhao Yi's questions and suggestions into serious consideration. She felt uneasy and agitated while multitasking as if she was sitting on pins and needles.

In the next moment, Yun Muxi could only try to claim herself down, letting herself confront Gong Yu and Zhao Yi. Meanwhile, she decided to write down all ideas proposed by Zhao Yi to enhance and modify her script after she went back.

After Zhao Yi finished speaking, Yun Muxi went out of the coffee shop wearily. She seemed to be exhausted after the conversation.

The sun was shining outside, but she felt no warmth at all. There was a dull pain in her head, so she raised her hand to rub her eyebrows. She went to the roadside and stopped a taxi to go home.

Yun Muxi sat in the taxi and told the driver her address. She closed her eyes and lay back in the chair. Before the car started, the car door was opened again. A tall figure got into the car and pushed her to the inside, sitting beside Yun Muxi composedly.

Yun Muxi opened her eyes and turned around. As she was about to howl, she discovered that the comer was Gong Yu. She knitted her eyebrows and reprimanded coldly, "Mr. Gong, if you need this taxi, I can get off to take another one."

Gong Yu looked indifferent and ignored Yun Muxi. He ordered the driver in a deep voice, "Go!"

Seeing they know each other, the driver turned around and asked, "Where are you going?"

Before Yun Muxi spoke, Gong Yu said in a deep voice, "Go where she is going to."

Yun Muxi looked more and more unpleasant. She glared at Gong Yu's face and reprimanded, "Mr. Gong, I'm afraid it's inappropriate. I'd better get off."

Gong Yu completely neglected her anger and looked at the driver indifferently. He said coldly and creepily, "Go!"

Gong Yu's words were like orders that were imperative and can’t be disobeyed. Upon seeing his sharp gaze, the driver was chilled with fear.

The driver thought they were a couple who just had a fight, so he did not want to meddle in their business and dared not speak more because the man was really terrifying. He stamped the accelerator and started the car hurriedly. The driver glanced at Yun Muxi sneakily from the rearview mirror with sympathy. He thought to himself, "Girl, your boyfriend is too terrifying. I really want to help you, but I'm not that brave. I am afraid you are on your own."

Yun Muxi did not know the driver's internal thoughts but she did not want to blame the innocent driver. She turned her head and stared at Gong Yu, growling, "Mr. Gong, what do you mean?"

Gong Yu looked back at Yun Muxi with a cold look, "What do I mean? That's what I want to ask you! Let's talk about it when we arrive at your home later. I think you owe me an explanation."

Yun Muxi became fearful, but she pretended to be cool. "Mr. Gong, we just meet for the first time, so I don't think I owe you an explanation."

Gong Yu revealed an evil smile at the corners of his mouth. His eyes were full of piercingly sharp look. He said sarcastically, "Oh? First meeting? But I don't think it's the first time we've met!"

Yun Muxi turned to look the scene out of the window and said indifferently, "I don' know what you're talking about!"

Although she pretended to be calm, she got emotional inside.

Yun Muxi's house was not far away from Shengxin Hotel. The driver was chilled with fear of the stern-faced man behind. Thus, he stamped the accelerator fiercely all the way. He really wanted to send them to the destination and left as soon as possible because he was afraid that he would be frozen up by accident.

The driver slammed on his brake pedal and stopped the car downstairs in her apartment 10 minutes later. With a beaming face, he said as if he was liberated, "Here we are."

Gong Yu got off first and looked at the apartment with his eyes. Dijing International Apartment was not far away from the city center. Although it was not an upscale apartment, it had a peaceful environment, strict management, and high-level security. People lived in were almost white-collar workers that went to work nearby. Yun Muxi paid the fare and got off. She neglected Gong Yu and trotted to the apartment gate.

The security system of the apartment was relatively strict, so a person needed to swipe the card to enter. Yun Muxi had planned ahead because she knew the stern-faced man was a sourpuss. She had no other good ideas, but she could only slam the door in his face or dump him hurriedly.

Yun Muxi picked up the pace as she thought. She rushed to the gate, swiped her card quickly, and entered the gate. Just as the gate was closing and she felt relieved, a big hand suddenly held down the gate. Then, the gate was pushed open by force. Yun Muxi leaned backward directly because she did not stand firm.

He circled her delicate waist timely with a mighty big hand. As he lifted her up, Yun Muxi fell into his firm and warm bosom.

She smelt a familiar light grassy smell. The long-lost flavor made her heart stop beating, and her brain went blank. Gong Yu's deep voice sounded above her, "Have you been hurt?"

Yun Muxi straightened her back and shook her head. She left Gong Yu's arms quickly, turned back, and ran to the elevator.

Yun Muxi pressed the elevator button hurriedly. When the elevator door opened, she got into the elevator like a bolt of lightning. She pressed the close button quickly, but the door was not closed yet. Gong Yu got into the elevator as swift as a bolt of lightning as well.

Yun Muxi could not bear Gong Yu anymore. She burst into anger and snapped, "Mr. Gong, don't you think you've gone too far? What do you mean by badgering me all the time?"

Gong Yu sneered and said, "Ah... Yun Muxi, you're funny. Do you think you can really erase everything that happened between us by denying it all?"
