Chapter 10-What Are You Doing, Mummy?

"Mr. Gong, you've harassed me like this several times. What are you driving at? If you act like this again, I will ask the police for help!" Yun Muxi looked cool and said fiercely.

"Ho-Ho... harass! You dare to threaten me!" Gong Yu said in a deep voice. Then, he smiled evilly, which made Yun Muxi more uneasy.

"Mr. Gong..."

Before she finished speaking, Gong Yu kissed her with his cold lips fiercely. She only felt pain on her lips and began to struggle up. He held her two fine and slim hands so that she was no longer able to struggle.

Yun Muxi wanted to beg for mercy several times but she was unable to speak. She wanted to bite him but he was always able to keep away from her skillfully.

She was anxious and burst into tears while Gong Yu was irrational and turned a blind eye to her. She was unable to resist or struggle, so she closed her eyes desperately...

Just then, the door slammed with a "bang", which disturbed them. She was sober and panic-stricken. She pushed Gong Yu away with abashment and resentment.

Three figures including two adults and one child suddenly appeared at the door and looked at them surprisingly. They were alarmed and bewildered, which let the three people fall into a reverie. As if they had an illicit love affair, Seventh Brother and Gu Yuxuan felt embarrassed.

The innocent Niannian smiled happily as she saw her mother. She opened her arms to come over and held Yun Muxi's thighs. She raised her little head, blinked her big eyes and said with a clear voice, "Mummy, I've been waiting for you at home for a long time. What are you doing at the uncle's house?"

The kiddy's immature words made the atmosphere awkward. Yun Muxi blushed as she held Niannian, saying with a guilty conscience, "Niannian, let's go home. It's time to take a bath and go sleep. Mummy will take you back to take a bath."

She dared not lift her head but held Niannian to leave Gong Yu's house as fast as she could. Gu Yuxuan smiled awkwardly at the two people, said goodbye hurriedly, and went back behind her.

There were only Gong Yu and Seventh Brother in the house. Gong Yu felt wronged because he was interrupted at a critical moment. Burning with anger, he glared at Seventh Brother.

With a guilty conscience, Seventh Brother could not look straight into Gong Yu's eyes. He said tensely, "The... the tiny creature is in the hotel. I will go to take it here and check out. You'd better take a bath and sleep early."

Then, Seventh Brother escaped from Gong Yu's house as quickly as possible.

There was only Gong Yu in the empty house. He threw himself into the big bed and beat the soft bed with clenched fists, receiving no pain. Gong Yu could not vent his anger but run to the washroom helplessly and take a cold bath. In doing so, he thoroughly recovered his sense.

After she went home, Yun Muxi carried Niannian to the washroom directly and prepared a pool of hot water to bathe Niannian. She finally calmed down. After she hushed Niannian to sleep, she dimmed the bedside light and left the bedroom.

When she closed the door and came out, Gu Yuxuan was sitting on the sofa and looking at her quizzically. Yun Muxi rubbed her eyebrows, went over and sat beside Gu Yuxuan. They grew up together, so she had already known that Gu Yuxuan could not wait to know what happened.

Yun Muxi appreciated Gu Yuxuan very much because Gu Yuxuan always humored her. Even if they were friends who could talk about everything, she never complained to her. She always waited quietly until the day she was willing to speak out.

That should be a knot in her heart. No one could undo it except the one who made it. Otherwise, everything is in vain. As an old saying goes: it is better for the doer to undo what he has done.

Besides, what would happen to them depended on themselves.

Hearing the first sentence, Gu Yuxuan suddenly realized that it was him.

When she found out the truth, she was extremely curious, even if she wanted to wait for Yun Muxi to tell her voluntarily.
