I Came Home With A Lady

Caleb came downstairs and went to the kitchen cause he knew he would find the butler there. The butler who was supervising the young employees in the kitchen, bowed his head when he saw Caleb enter the kitchen.

"Welcome sir. What took you so long? I hope the young Miss is okay?"

"Evening to you too Cyrus, go get the bag that's in the car and bring it here." Caleb told Cyrus, the butler. Cyrus bowed and turned to go get what he was told.

"Caleb how was your day? Hope all went well?" An elderly woman who was bent looking for something in the lower cabinets said as she stood up. The elderly woman is Nanny Sophia, she looked more like a middle age of about 40 cause she still looked beautiful and had just little wrinkles on her face but from her aura and the way she carried herself one could tell that she's way more mature than she looks. Sophia had been working for the Campbells for a long time even before Caleb was born, she had served the Campbells for almost thirty three years now and had been Caleb's nanny since he was born so Caleb is very fond of her. She took and treated Caleb as she would her child.

"Nan Sophia I'm alright, but I need your help with something."

"Ok, what do you need?"

"Eh, Nan, I came home with a lady and..."

"What? You came home with a lady? Where is she? I need to see her right away."

Caleb has never brought any woman home apart from Annabelle and no one else after her until now, so Nanny Sophia was very surprised and shocked to hear he had brought a lady home, that's why she asked all the questions she did.

"Nan Sophia." Caleb called trying to remind her that that's not the main point they should be discussing. Nan Sophia calmed down and asked

"Ok Cal, what do you need my help with."

"Nan, she's injured and she needs help in the bathroom." Caleb replied

"She's wounded? What happened? How did she get injured?"

"She kinda of fell into a pit and sprained her ankle because of me and the doctor said...

"No Cal, tell me everything that happened." Nan Sophia interrupted.

And with a sigh Caleb told her everything that happened with Camile and that she would be staying for a couple of days.

"Ok I would help."

"Oh eh, there's one more thing Nan, she doesn't have a change of clothes."

"Oh ok, can't we check to see what suits her?"

"No Nan you can't." Caleb said with a bit of anger and slight irritation in his voice.

"Oh but I'm not young enough to have clothes that may fit her or that she may like, not every young lady likes to wear an old lady's clothes...one that they don't even know. Or do you want me to ask the maids for something?" Caleb kept silent, seeing that he didn't like her idea she said "ok ok I'll go look for something that would be manageable. Tomorrow I'll go shopping to get her some clothes."

"Alright, thank you Nan." he said with a smile.

When Cyrus came back with Camile's bag he saw Caleb and Nan Sophia discussing and she said she was going "upstairs to see her". He had been wondering, the bag he got from the car seems to belong to a lady, he was sure it wasn't his bosses bag as he had never seen him with it before and the bag smelled feminine too so when he heard what Nanny Sophia said he got more suspicious and curious, he wanted to see and know who the "her" is.

"I'll just bring the bag upstairs with you " Cyrus said.

Knowing what he was thinking, both Caleb and Nan Sophia didn't want to give him the pleasure so they both said at the same time

"No way you're going upstairs Cyrus"

"No go back to what you were doing before I came Cyrus."

Seeing that they didn't want him to go upstairs made him even more suspicious and more curious but he didn't say anything. He was going to find a way to see the "her" they were talking about.

Nan Sophia turned to go see what she could salvage for the lady upstairs to wear. Caleb thanked her and said he would be in his office doing some work if they needed him.

"Hello Camile, is that you? Are you ok?"

"Yes it's me and I am fine."

"Oh thank goodness, I was super worried when nobody could reach you. I was worried that the interview didn't go as we hoped when Mom called to say she didn't hear from you. I was devastated, I knew I shouldn't have let you go alone but you refuse to let me accompany you."

"I said I'm fine Simon. The interview didn't go as we hoped and there's been a little change in my movement, so I won't be back till weekend."

"Really Cam, what change, and why won't you be back till next weekend? Did something go wrong?"

"Please Simon, I'm quite exhausted today, I'll tell everything when I get back home ok. Pardon me for now. I really need to rest and I haven't even showered or eaten yet. I'm staying at a friend's so you don't have to worry about me ok. Everything is fine."

"Ok Camile. If you say so. Shower and eat and rest well ok. You know I would still be asking for answers but since you said you are tired I'll let you rest for now. Now take good care of yourself ok. Have a good night. I'll call you tomorrow."

"Goodnight Simon."

When Nan Sophia got to Camile's door she just finished talking with Simon and was in deep thoughts so she didn't hear the knock on the door. She was thinking about what Simon said. If Simon had been this worried then her mother would have been worse. she hoped her mother and sister will be fine. And it's a good thing Simon didn't come to Mania with her else she didn't want to imagine what he would do about all that happened and she wouldn't dare to tell him because she knew he would make things difficult for her as well as Caleb too so it's best he doesn't know about the accident.

Nan Sophia knocked gently and opened the door, she saw a delicate figure lying face up on the bed. She seemed to be in deep thoughts as she didn't even know that someone had entered the room. She was really beautiful. She smiled impressed, Caleb sure knows how to get the beautiful ones, even her voice was beautiful She had heard her saying goodbye to someone on the phone, that's how she knows. She was just as beautiful as an angel, with her delicate looking figure lying on the bed, black long hair sprawled on the bed and the air around her that spoke feminity.

As she didn't know her name, Nan Sophia cleared her throat and said "uhm miss?"

Snapping out of her thoughts, Camile was surprised to see someone in the room but she was glad it was a woman, an elderly woman and not Caleb

"Uhm miss, are you ok?" Nan Sophia asked

"Yes I'm fine."

"Ok, Caleb asked me here, he said you needed help."

"Yes I asked him to send someone to help me in the bathroom. I was feeling dizzy at that time and I didn't want to cause any more troubles than I already have but I feel better now and I think I can manage on my own. Thank you."

"No child, he said the doctor said you are not allowed to put pressure on your leg so I also think think you need help. See your leg is even swollen." Nan Sophia said pointing the injured leg.

"Ok but I hope it won't be too much work for you? Cause I wouldn't want you to stress yourself over me."

"Nonsense child, it isn't a big deal. I'll do it for my child too if she were here even so now so it's no work ok."

"Ok ma'am."

"Yes child. What's your name?"

"Camile"

"Ok. That's a beautiful name for a girl as beautiful as you. My name is Sophia."

"Ok ma'am Sophia."

"No, Sophia is ok or you can just call me Nan Sophia if you're not comfortable with just Sophia."

"Alright Nan Sophia."

"Oh we may have a bit of a problem. Since you don't have a change of clothes I hope you don't mind wearing this old lady's clothes for the night. It's late now to get you something but I assure you that the clothes are clean I bought it and have not even worn it before. Tomorrow I'll go shop for some clothes for you. You could have come with me to see what you like if you are alright to walk but I'm afraid Caleb would not even allow that if you say you could manage.

Camile chuckled and said "It's ok I don't mind wearing your clothes and you don't have to go shopping for me either. I'll just ask my friend to bring me some clothes."

"But you don't have to. I am happy to go shopping for you."

"No Nan, you don't have to I'll just call her to bring them over if that would be ok."

Knowing she meant if it would be ok with Caleb Nanny Sophia nodded and said he wouldn't have a problem with that, then proceeded into the bathroom to set up the water after showing Camile a walk in closet where she could change out of her clothes. Smiled as she recalled Camile calling her Man just like Caleb does. While Camile was going to call Lisa

"Hello, don't tell me you miss me too much that's why you are calling me again this night." Lisa said immediately she answered the call

"As if. I need a favor List."

"I know it you needed me else would I be blessed enough as to have you call me twice in an hour to check on me. What do you need my help with Cam?"

"Well I don't have a change of clothes and I can't possibly walk naked, I'm going to stay here for days. So I was wondering if you could bring some clothes here for me tomorrow." Camile said in a pleading tone to her friend.

"Cam you can just buy clothes over there."

"Yes I know but I can't walk remember and besides it's Saturday tomorrow and you are not going to work I'd love the company if could come spend the weekend with me before you leave. Or don't you want to see the house that's finer than a castle, we'd tour the house together. And don't you want to see what the handsome devil looks like. And I'll pay for the fare too." Camile said all these convince her friend.

"Yes I'll be there tomorrow. You don't have to worry I'll bring everything you need ok. Bye. See you tomorrow love". Lisa said joyfully then hung up as she didn't want Camile to change her mind about paying for the fare. Camile smiled when Lisa hung up the call*Typical Lisa*.she thought

She dropped her phone on the bed then leaped to the walk-in closet to change out of her clothes and go take a bath.
