CHAPTER 5: THE DEVIL’S FAMILY
Anna castigated herself, it wasn’t supposed to be like this, but staring back at him, all of the courage she musters were drove away. His presence made her shrunk, his intense gaze made her tongue tied, and all she could was stared at him. Powerless, and meek.
And Anna hated it.
The more she thinks about it, the more she felt stupider.
A knock from the door draws her attention.
“Come in—“
Helen marched unannounced. Behind her were two maids, and her lips were upturned. She did not even make an effort to hide how much she dislikes her.“We were sent here to make sure that you’ll be prepared for tonight, Mrs. Salvador.” She scorned.
The two young maids behind her cowered in fear.
“Prepared for what?” Anna ignored her disdain.
Her plate is full already. She doesn’t want to deal with her…for now.
“What a pity that our Lord had not even informed his little wife about his family’s get together.” Helen’s voice is full of mockery.
Anna would have made a remark at her, but her heart skips a beat from what she said. Her eyes widened in horror.
“W—What...?”
How could she have forgotten that wedding also involves a chance of meeting Romanov’s family?
Oh, fuck!
“O—oh, god….! Rome…!” The woman throws her head back.
Her lips are parted, and her breathing is ragged. A messy lush of blonde hair was sprawled on top of her head. The rhythm of her chest moves in a fast pace of up and down. The skin on her face, and her throat was hot.
The sheets underneath her crumpled, sweat trickled from her forehead with how intense the feeling she was drawn as of the moment.
The man on top of her continue assaulting her with every deep thrust. This made her delirious. Delilah wanted more.
“R—Rome…” Her legs are shaking.
She was near.
With that frenzy of mixed emotions, she pulled him, her lips ready to crashed against his own, but then he stops. The fireworks that was supposed to explode inside of her vanish. The pleasure dims out.
This made her suck on her breath. An irritation builds inside her chest.
“Rome! What that heck’s your problem?” Her voice did not mask her irritation.
Only then, the man pulled up. His eyes are cold. His glare is terrifying.
“You have forgotten the rules.” It was of displeasure, when he said those words.
“What? About the kissing? C’mon, one kiss wouldn’t hurt, and as if you care about your marriage with that woman— “
GASP.
She wasn’t yet done, but Romanov was. Delilah’s eyes widened. His large calloused hands squeezed her airway tight. His looks are deadly. A shudder run passed through her spine as she struggles to breathe.
“You also forgot that you have no rights to talk.” He was too calm, but his aura is terrifying. “You are only here, because I wanted to fuck you, you got that?”
Tears stream on her eyes.
“Y—yes.” She choked.
He could kill her, if he wanted to.
“P—please don’t kill me.” Delilah pleaded.
She was shaking terribly.
Romanov harshly let go of her neck.
“Leave.” Every single word he said is full of authority. “I wanted you to fucking leave!”
With fearful gaze, Delilah gathered herself. Her naked trembling body run past at him. She was crying.
On her way, she met Aiden.
“Please wait at the lobby, I’ll take you home— “ The man was calm. He was used seeing women coming from Romanov’s room in this state. Only that she was lucky, if she pushed her luck more—he would be cleaning a mess, carrying a dead body from there.
“Fuck you!” Delilah cursed, and then, she was gone to the elevator.
Aiden only chuckled at her behavior, “Women.”
When he reached the room, Romanov was already dressed. His onyx black hair is messy on top, but it however matches his black polo shirt that was hugging his muscular build. An Armani suit was placed over paired with a black pants.
“I assumed that everything has been prepared.” He said.
“Yes as you wanted it to.” Aiden nodded his head.
“And her?” An image of Anna’s meek face who was staring at him boldly earlier flashed on his head. Romanov chuckled darkly.
He can’t wait to get home, and see her trembling on his mercy.
“Your wife is already there, Senor.”
She’s there, and waiting, huh?
“Let’s go then. I wouldn’t want my little wife to grow impatient with me.” He let out a low chuckle as if he was up to something.
Anna sat there on the lounge nervously. A little perplexed, isn’t it the party she was supposed to attend? There’s nobody here. It was just here on the venue. A table was set besides the fountain. There is a music of jazz being played by a few musicians on the side. There are waiters, and maids, but nobody who could passed as Romanov’s parents, and sibling or whatever, they don’t just look like his family
That’s when a black limo pulled over.
“Is that them…?” Her heart skips a beat.
Surely, when the first person walked in, she couldn’t be mistaken at all. It was a man, who looks exactly like Romanov. Only that one of his eyes are covered, and a large scar was running across from his face.
She didn’t need anybody to confirm it. Anna is no fool, and when their eyes meet, she felt like she just wanted to run away, and hide from the man. Her skin crawled. The anxiety that envelops her came from an instinct, whenever she felt like she was in danger of something…or more likely from someone.
GULPS.
How can she not be scared, when she was just looking at the notorious father of Romanov Salvador?!
CHAPTER 6: WHAT IS MINE“They won’t let me go out there, daddy.” Natasha came back, her furrow brows shows frustration, but it wasn’t just her. Her entire family are stressed out, now that David’s men are guarding their house for the meantime to make sure that they wouldn’t run away.“Damn it!” Mathew cursed.“Oh, sweetheart, it’s not your fault.” His wife came to him. “If there’s somebody to blame, it’s not you, nobody between us…but it’s Anna.”“That witch still causes us trouble, even if she wasn’t here!” Natasha agreed.“Don’t worry, we’ll get through it…” But then, a wicked idea came to Ellen’s head. “Wait. Since we’ve already marry her off, why don’t we get something from it, honey?”“You’re talking about digging our own grave, Ellen.” Mathew rolled his eyes. “If David won’t kill us, then we’ll probably die living in that mansion. The Salvador’s are evil; they are savages— ““Not to any woman.” A wretched smile spread from her lips. “Don’t worry, I have a plan.”ANNA’S POINT OF

His gaze are intense as if he wanted to kill her and the coldness coming from them sent chills to the bone. He was mad, he was beyond furious as he clutch her wrist—hard. “You fucking wrench! How dare you tricked me?!” He didn’t, she was the one who had been tricked by her own parents. “Get the hell out of here or I will fucking tear you into shreds!” His voice thunders across the room. “Ouch!” Anna flinched, when he harshly let go of her hand. CHAPTER 2: TAKEN BY FORCE, CONTRACT MARRIAGEIt didn’t take long. Half an hour, multiple unfamiliar cars screeched to a halt right outside the Mason’s mansion. The guards who were on duty looked baffled, they were dumbstruck especially, when men who were clad on expensive black suit marched as if they own the place.“Who are you? Leave this instant or we’re calling the police!”“You can’t just barge in here…!”“What’s all with the commotion?” When Mathew Mason, Anna’s father heard that unknown men were marching into his mansion, he rushed out, but fear engulfs him when he took a peek. They looks intimidating, that mad him scared shitless—but who the hell sent them?“We wanted Anna Mason. The only thing that was keeping me sane was the sound of water, a few drops coming from the cracks on the ceiling and a few guards, who would check on me, but never utter a single word.
