3.
NEXT MORNING… Amber awoke with a smile on her face. This was the first time she actually woke up with a genuine smile since the previous months. She had had trouble having a peaceful sleep after Axel left. She may or may not have fantasized about him doing terrible but pleasurable things to her which always ended up with her touching herself in the process. She was shameless, she knew it, but she felt she shouldn’t be blamed for lusting after her brother’s best friend. I mean look at him… he was drop dead gorgeous; too hot to even breathe the same air as her. She could still recall the day he spent the night at their house, and she had to wake up and find him making some pancakes in the kitchen. He was shirtless and his hair was messy, and it only made him hotter than he already was. She had watched how his muscles flexed as he lifted the frying pan and flipped the pancakes. She blessed her self control because it took all she had not to run into his arms and trail her hand on his flawless skin. That was the day she knew she wanted him and she had never stopped wanting him despite the obstacles between them. She sat up and stretched out her hands, yawning slightly. Her gaze drifted to the clock on the bed stand and her eyes widened. It was 7am. “Shit! I’m late!” she exclaimed, jumping down from the bed. She had to see her advisor by 7:30 and also sort out her courses but here she was… already running late on her first day. She was about to take off her pajamas when her room door swung open. “What the hell, Cole? You’re a dickhead. You can’t even knock!” she snapped, taking the pajama off, leaving her in her lace bra. She expected him to lash back at her with an insult worse than hers, but he said nothing which got her wondering. Cole was never this quiet. “Cole—” her voice caught in her throat when she turned to see that it wasn’t Cole but Axel. Axel stood in the doorway, his eyes scanning her from head to toe, taking in her lacy bra and sleep shorts. Amber's cheeks flushed as she hastily grabbed a nearby shirt to cover herself. She could swear something flashed in his eyes, but what was it? “I…I thought you were Cole,” she stuttered, trying to compose herself. Axel's eyes widened, and he quickly looked away, clearing his throat. “Yeah, no. It's me. Cole left early. I, uh, thought you were ready to leave.” Amber's face grew hotter. “I overslept,” she muttered, trying to tug the shirt down to cover more of her legs. Axel shifted uncomfortably, still avoiding eye contact. “You're always running late, aren't you?” he asked, his tone laced with amusement. Amber felt a defensive sting. “Hey, it's not my fault! I just lost track of time.” Axel raised an eyebrow, finally meeting her gaze. “Lost track of time? You're always like this. Sleeping in late, showing up at the last minute…” Amber's eyes widened. “That’s not true,” she lowered her head, her cheeks burning with embarrassment. Axel took a deep breath and smiled at her. “You've got ten minutes to get ready. Meet me outside, and I'll drive you to school.” Amber stuttered, still feeling embarrassed. “That’s… that’s barely enough time.” Ten minutes? That wasn’t enough. Not when she wanted to doll herself up and make him notice her. Axel’s eyes narrowed and he folded his arms. “Then you’d better have a good excuse to give to your advisor, cat eyes.” he reminded her, and she bit her lower lip. “Fine. I’ll be ready.” He nodded and left, leaving Amber feeling flustered and frustrated. She quickly finished getting ready, her mind reeling with thoughts of Axel's unexpected visit to her room and the look on his face when he saw her half naked. She knew Axel. He would never flush seeing a lady half naked or even bare before him. That’s just the kind of person he was, but why did he look that way with her? She wondered if it was because she was Cole’s sister and typically off bounds, or there was something else. She shook her head. “I shouldn’t be thinking about this,” she whispered with a sigh. “I shouldn’t get my hopes up quickly.” As she rushed outside, Axel was leaning against his car, sipping a coffee. He raised an eyebrow at her hurried appearance. “Ready now?” he asked, smiling. Amber nodded, taking the coffee from him and downing it in one go. Axel watched her, amusement lining his features. Amber had always been a brave and interesting kid… he hoped she wouldn’t get into trouble sooner than he had hoped. She slid into the passenger seat, trying to avoid eye contact. The drive to campus was quiet, with Axel focused on the road and Amber lost in thought. When they arrived, Axel turned off the engine and turned to her. “Thanks for the ride,” Amber said, reaching for the door handle. Axel caught her arm. “Hey, Cat eyes?” She looked back at him, her gaze questioning and her heart thinking wildly in her chest as the effect of his grip on her hand. “Be careful today, okay?” he said, his eyes serious. “This isn’t high school. This is College. Life here is a little different from what you had back home. Don’t hesitate to let me know if you need anything, okay?” he said and she nodded slowly. “Oh, you can call me to show you around after your meeting with your advisor. I’m all yours for today.” he winked at her. Amber's heart skipped a beat. She wondered why he meant by he was all hers? She bit her lip and smiled. “I will,” she replied softly. Axel released her arm, and Amber stepped out of the car. As she walked away, she felt Axel's gaze on her, sending shivers down her spine, but she didn’t dare to look back. She met with her advisor and discussed her course schedule, and academic goals, trying to focus on the conversation. But her mind kept drifting back to Axel's words: “I'm all yours for today.” What did he mean by that? She wondered if he was trying to lead her on somehow. After the meeting, Amber walked out of the halls with the school’s map in her hand and some links too. Her classes were starting at noon, and she couldn’t help but wonder how it was going to be. She pulled out her phone and dialed Axel's number. He offered to be her chaperon after all. “Hey, Cat eyes,” he answered on the first ring. Amber smiled at the nickname. She always felt a flutter in her chest whenever he called her that name. Growing up, she had hated her cat-like eyes, but that was the first thing Axel noticed the day they met for the first time, and he made her love it. “Hey. I'm done with my meeting.” she beamed. “I'll be there in five,” Axel said, and hung up. Amber's heart raced with excitement and anticipation as she waited for Axel. She kept checking her wristwatch, her eyes darting everywhere as she waited impatiently. When Axel arrived, he was grinning. “Ready for the tour?” Amber nodded, feeling a flutter in her chest. As they walked across campus, Axel pointed out various buildings and landmarks. Amber listened intently, laughing at his jokes and anecdotes. They stopped at the student union, where Axel spotted Trevor, his course mate and friend. “Hey, Trev!” Axel called out. Trevor turned, a friendly smile on his face. “Axel! What's up, man?” Axel introduced Amber, and Trevor's eyes widened. “The famous little sister, huh?” Amber rolled her eyes good-naturedly. “Hey, watch it. I’m not that little.” Then she raised an eyebrow. What did he mean by “famous little sister” anyway? Trevor chuckled. His eyes darted to the books in her hand. “So, Mass Communication, huh? You're in for a wild ride.” Axel nodded. “I told her about Professor Jenna’s Broadcasting class.” Trevor grinned. “That's a great one. You'll love it,” Amber only smiled. As they chatted, Trevor leaned in, lowering his voice. “You know, Amber, Axel here has quite a reputation on campus.” Amber's curiosity piqued. “What kind of reputation?” Trevor glanced at Axel, who shook his head in warning. “Let's just say he's got a certain… charm.” Axel cleared his throat. “Trevor, don't scare her off.” Trevor chuckled. “I'm just keeping it real, Axel. You know I've got your back.” Amber's eyes met Axel's, wondering what Trevor meant. She knew Axel was quite the charmer, and girls do want to get noticed by him, her included. He was a playboy, but one thing she knew was that he wasn’t one to fuck around like an animal, so what was Trevor talking about? But it’s been two years since she last saw him. Has he changed? Even if he has, he was all she wanted. He’s all she could see. “Come on, let’s go eat breakfast before lectures start,” he held her hand, causing the hair on her skin to stand. Why was every touch electrifying? She took in her bottom lip, as she imagined her hands pinned above her head while he whispered dirty words into her ears and fuck her hard. She shut her eyes tight. She had a wild imagination and it was all because of how close they were. ‘What have you turned me into, Axel?’ she screamed internally. “I’ll see you guys later then.” Trevor waved at them and walked away. Amber stared at their entwined hands as Axel led her to the cafeteria. She watched how the students stared, and though she wasn’t one who loved attention, she seemed to be happy with this one. It was fucking Axel, for goodness’ sake. Who wouldn’t be? As they sat, eating, Amber couldn’t help stealing glances at Axel. She almost got caught on numerous occasions, but she already knew how to maneuver her way out. She hadn’t secretly watched and taken photos of him for years, all for nothing. She was about to say something when a pretty redhead lady walked up to them and to Amber’s surprise, she leaned in and kissed Axel on his lips. His fucking lips that she had dreamed of tasting for like… forever. Her mouth hung open, her chest heating up. Her grip tightened around her fork and she fought back the urge to throw the fork into the ladies neck and watch her neck bleed for touching Axel. The girl pulled away and looked at her with a smile. “You must be Amber,” she began, her smile all too friendly for Amber’s liking. “Axel told me you were coming. It’s nice to finally meet you in person. I am Candice, his girlfriend.” she introduced herself and Amber felt like she had been punched in the gut. What? Girlfriend? Axel had a girlfriend?004. Amber's eyes widened, her grip on the fork tightening the more. “Girlfriend?” she repeated, trying to keep her tone neutral. Candice nodded, smiling. “Yeah, we've been together for a few months now.” Amber's gaze shifted to Axel, who looked uncomfortable. “You didn't mention you had a girlfriend,” she said, trying to keep the accusation out of her voice. Axel shrugged. “It didn't come up.” Amber felt a pang of disappointment. Why hadn't he told her? Did he think she wouldn't care? She glared at him, her heart aching. Candice leaned in, oblivious to the tension. “So, Amber, what do you think of the campus so far?” Amber forced a smile, trying to play it cool. “It's great. Thanks for asking.” Candice nodded with a smile. “Since you’re Axel’s little sister, I’ll give you special treatment,” ‘If that special treatment involves you leaving Axel’s life forever, I’m game.’ Amber muttered in her thoughts as Candice kept going on and on about how she would take care of
005.“Spill the tea, girlie. How on earth do you know Axel King? He even shoved you into his car!” Melissa exclaimed, causing Amber to laugh.“He didn’t really shove me into the car, Mel.” Amber massaged her forehead. Melissa had video called her the minute she got home and wouldn’t stop asking about Axel. She couldn’t help wondering how Amber knew who Axel was when she was just a freshman.Melissa rolled her eyes. “Oh please!” she waved it off. “He literally swept you off your feet.” she giggled.Amber chuckled softly. “Well, he is my brother’s best friend, so he is technically my friend too. We’ve known each other since we were kids.”Melissa gasped. “Girl, you’re lucky. Axel King is the most popular guy on campus. Don’t ask me how I know, I’m an all rounder-perks of being a mass communication student, am I right?”“It’s gossip.” Amber laughed.The door to her room opened and Cole walked in. He threw the towel he was holding on Amber’s face and she huffed.“Let’s talk later, Melissa
006.Next day…Amber, Melissa, and Jack were having lunch in the cafeteria and Melissa didn’t waste time before telling Jack about Axel. Jack gasped. “I might just be a freshman but the name “Axel King” is gold on campus. Everybody knows him and girls? Fuck, they are always all over him, especially when he plays basketball.”Melissa giggled. “Not only is he hot and drop dead gorgeous, he is also good at sports and have led this college to numerous victories in his two years of being here,”Amber smiled. “Axel has always been my golden guy. He is awesome.” Melissa narrowed her eyes at her. “Girl, you’re swooning.” she chuckled.Amber sighed.Just then, Axel walked into the cafeteria, and just like they had said, all eyes were on him in an instant, including hers. There was something about him… about his presence, his aura, that seemed to command the room. Melissa watched Amber with a smile on her face. No one needed to explain what was going on to her right now. One thing she knew;
007.Axel stood in the spacious office, his face indifferent and his patience wearing thin. He hated being here, and he especially hated the feeling of nostalgia that came with coming to this place.He walked over to the window, overlooking the whole city, and he sighed, tucking his hands into his pocket as his handsome face contorted to a frown. His father’s office had always been the most uncomfortable place for him to be in, and now he had been here for fifteen minutes, waiting for his so-called father who had called him here but went ahead to do business… as usual.Just as he was about to give up and turned to walk out, the door opened, and his father walked in, his expression stern. “I’m actually surprised you waited.” he took a seat and gestured for Axel to sit as well.“Why did you call me here?” Axel asked as soon as his butt landed on the chair.Mr. Kevin King cleared his throat and folded his hands on the desk as he looked at his son. “It’s about you and Candice,” he answer
008.“Turn around!” Amber screamed and Axel’s body moved of its own accord as he quickly turned, his heart beating fast.Amber shut her eyes tight in embarrassment as she rushed to carry her towel and back into the bathroom to calm herself down before coming out. She had no idea Axel would be back early. “Fuck!” she covered her face with her palms. She could literally feel her cheeks burning with embarrassment. How the heck was she going to face him now. What was she going to say? It was going to be so awkward talking to him after this.She groaned, feeling like the ground should open and swallow her whole. She paced around the bathroom as she thought of what to do. She slowly opened the door and peeked through it. He was still standing with his back turned. She guessed he might be scared to turn and see her again. Her eyes scanned her room before it landed on the tampons and chocolates he had bought. She looked away, stretched out her hand to her shorts on the bed and grabbed them
009.Damn her dirty mind! What in heaven's name was she thinking? She screamed into her pillow, her face heating from the first-hand embarrassment.After she uttered that insane sentence, it became awkward a little bit as Axel didn’t know the response to give her. She had to pretend it was just a harmless joke, blaming him for flirting with her, then quickly finished her food and rushed into her room.“Gosh!” she facepalmed, shaking her head. It was becoming more and more difficult to control herself around him. She might actually snap one day if he doesn’t see the green lights she’s been giving him.Axel was every lady’s guy. He knew how to have his way with girls, and he certainly knew how to keep them coming back for more. He also knew when a lady was into him, so why hadn’t he noticed that she had a thing for him?Was he mistaking her stares and flirting for admiration, or he probably thought she was joking? She tried to get the questions out of her head, but she couldn’t.During
010.Two days later…“Are you sure you want to go through with this, Amy? You still have a chance to change your mind.” Melissa said as she added the finishing touches to Amber’s hair.Amber smiled, her expression determined. “You’ve been asking me this for two days now, and I already told you I want to do it.”Melissa sighed. She understood her best friend’s plight, but she wouldn’t want Axel falling in love with her based on a mere seduction. Deep down, she knew Axel had a thing for Amber; I mean it’s damn obvious from the way he looked at her, and the way his expression softened whenever he listened to her.She wished Amber would let him make a move instead of pushing it down on him. She had been trying to convince Amber since that day at the cafeteria, but the lady was quite stubborn.“What about Cole?” she asked, reaching into Amber’s wardrobe and pulling out the signature red gown they had bought specifically for tonight.Amber smiled. “Let me worry about that. I’m finally eigh
011. After the party died down a bit and people began leaving, Axel took Amber to the rooftop of the house, decorated with twinkling fairy lights and a breathtaking view of the city skyline. Amber’s eyes widened. She felt like she had just walked into a fairy tale. “Wow, Axel, this is so beautiful,” Amber breathed, her eyes glinting with excitement. This had to be the best birthday ever. “I wanted to make tonight special for you,” Axel said, his voice low and husky, as he led her to the edge of the rooftop. The city lights stretched out before them, a dazzling canvas of color and light. Amber felt Axel’s hand brush against hers, sending shivers down her spine. “Thank you, Axel,” she whispered, her heart pounding as she turned to face him. Axel turned to face her, his eyes burning with intensity. When their gazes locked, he smiled and looked away while Amber looked around excitedly. “I guess this is one way to end the evening, don’t you think?” she beamed at him and quickly turne
138.When the final whistle blew, the students returned with their eggs in their baskets. While Ms. Zara and Ms. Emma went around counting and making records, the students, who were able to bond got to know each other better.Meanwhile, when she got to Amber’s group, she raised a brow. Dina stood two steps away from Amber, Melissa and Henry, and only her basket had eggs in it. Zara only sighed and recorded their scores before finishing the rest.The entire place fell silent as Ms. Zara and Ms. Emma read out the scores of each group.“And finally,” Ms. Zara said, her voice loud, “the winner of this year's Egg Hunt Challenge is…the group of Axel, Jack, Rachel, and Maria with a score of 50 eggs.”The students erupted in cheers as the victorious group was called out, Jack’s face glowing with pride as he raised his hand in victory. Amber and Melissa cheered for them.“And the excellence award for the most hard working at finding the eggs goes to Maria!” she announced, and they all clapped.
137.The next morning, the students were all gathered on their sides of the campsite. Ms. Zara walked into their middle followed by Ms. Emma. “Good morning, Students,” Zara began, a face beaming with smiles. “Today, you will be going egg hunting!” she announced, and the students began cheering and applauding. “I and Ms. Emma have hidden eggs all around the campsite, and it’s your job to find them. The team with the most eggs by the time the whistle is blown wins,” she said.Dina and her gang glared at the mass comm students, their faces holding a challenge. Amber only rolled her eyes, her attention fixed on Henry, who smiled at her.“This year, there is going to be a twist,” Zara continued, a smile tugging at the side of her lips. “This year, we are merging the two departments together. We will be pairing you two, and you’d have to work together to find the eggs.”The students gasped, murmuring as they looked at each other. “But, Ms. Zara, that’s not fair. What’s the point of competi
136.Later that night while everyone was already asleep, Amber snuck out to where she and Axel had agreed to meet up. They hadn’t been able to spend time together due to the number of students at the campsite, and how they were never able to get enough privacy. Nights seemed to be the only time they’d be able to spend time together. “You made it,” Axel beamed, stretching out his hand to her. Amber took his hand, her face beaming with smiles. “Of course. I wouldn’t miss spending time with you for anything.”Axel chuckled as they walked away from the campsite and into the woods. “I have already prepared the perfect place.” He had found a swimming pool when he had gone sightseeing while the students were parking. Since it was a campsite, he was sure they had built it for people who came to relax and it looked well taken care of. It was so beautiful that he couldn’t wait to show it to Amber. It filled him with so much excitement that he was going to show her now.The moon helped in lig
135.That night, after being told the camp rules and regulations, the students gathered around the camp fire. Their activities were to start the next day and they were to use this night to catch up but both groups didn’t look like they were interested in catching up.Amber wrapped her arms around herself when a guy approached her. He was from the arts and entertainment group. “Hey,” he said.Amber looked up, her brows furrowing at the handsome brown haired boy in front of her. Seeing him, she already knew where he was from. “How can I help you?” she asked, her tone flat.The boy, knowing the reason for her dry reply forced a smile and took a seat beside her. “I just wanted to commend what you did this afternoon. I like how you told your story and left everyone speechless.” Amber smiled, feeling good for her victory. The arts and entertainment students stayed off her turf since that happened. And she became quite popular amongst her fellow mass comm students, who saw her as their savi
134.The school bus rolled down the road, the engine humming as it carried the mass communication and students towards the destination of their much-anticipated camping trip. The arts and entertainment students had to take another school bus since this wouldn’t fit them all.Amber and Axel were seated side by side, their hands interlocked under the cover of their jackets. Amber was giddy that she got to attend this camping trip with them. She was happy she didn’t decline and stayed at home. She had no idea it was for all levels of the mass communication students. She thought it was only them, but thank goodness, she now had Axel, Melissa and Jack.Maybe this wasn’t going to be so bad after all.Melissa, seated across from them, leaned over and smiled slyly at Amber. "You seem awfully chipper today, Amber," she said, wiggling her eyebrows playfully.Amber snickered. “Oh, you should know why, Mel.”Melissa grinned mischievously, her eyes dancing with amusement. "So, you and Axel plannin
133.Axel smirked, his finger sliding deeper into Amber's soaking core, eliciting a low moan from her lips. "More, huh?" he teased, his finger pumping slowly in and out of her, teasing her sensitive walls. "I thought you'd never ask."Amber whimpered, her hips bucking against his hand as she sought more stimulation. "Yes, please," she gasped, her eyes pleading with him. "I need you, Axel. I need you inside me."Axel leaned forward, pressing his lips against hers in a searing kiss as his finger continued to move inside her. His finger withdrew from Amber, his eyes never leaving hers as he positioned himself between her legs. He traced a hand down her body, his fingers brushing against her sensitive skin as he aligned himself with her entrance.Amber's breath quickened as she felt him at her core, her hands gripping his arms as she arched her back in anticipation.Axel entered her with one smooth thrust, groaning as he filled her completely. Amber cried out, her nails digging into his s
132.Amber's lips curled into a teasing smile as she trailed her hand down Axel's back, her fingers grazing over his slick skin. "Mmhmm, and what exactly is my wish?" she teased, pressing her body against his.Axel shuddered once more, goosebumps erupting along his skin. "Well, I believe your wish is for me to show you just how much I've missed you," he said, his voice husky and full of desire. His hands gripped her hips, pulling her closer, and Amber gasped as she felt his hardness pressing against her lower back.Amber let out a small moan, arching her back and pressing herself harder against Axel's body. "That's right," she whispered, her voice dripping with need. "And I've missed you too. You have no idea how much."Axel turned around, his eyes dark with lust as he took in the sight of her naked body. His hand slid up her waist, cupping her breast as his lips captured hers in a searing kiss.Amber moaned against his mouth, her tongue tangling with his as he backed her against the
131.Two weeks later…“Well, that’s all for today,” Professor David said as he closed his laptop and smiled at the students who began returning their notepads and iPads into their bags. This was the last classes for today and due to how occupied the day had been for them, they felt like breaking.“Our continuous assessment will commence soon,” he said and the students began murmuring. Professor David raised his hand and they all quieted down immediately. “The date hasn’t been announced yet. We will be having a board meeting with the vice chancellor and school management to fix a date that wouldn’t be too inconvenient for you guys. As you know, the mass communication students would be going on a camping trip with the arts and entertainment department soon. We are still trying to look for ways to make sure everything falls into place,” he took his laptop. “Until then, see you. And please, read your books. This might be second semester but you aren’t freshmen anymore.” Without waiting fo
130.Amber gasped as Axel helped her into the luxurious and well decorated outdoor restaurant. Her eyes widened at the decor, the crystal lights dancing around flower bushes, the water fountain in front of her and the exotic food and drinks, set on the table, waiting for her and calling her name. A smile graced her lips.“Tadaaa!” Axel spread out his arms, showing her the beauty of the place.Amber turned to face him, literally bubbling with smiles. This was the best makeup date. She didn’t even have to think twice before forgiving him for making her miss him so much. “So… do you like it?” Axel asked, taking her good hand in his.Amber nodded with a smile. “I love it,” she said, still looking around. It’s so amazing I feel like I can’t get enough of it.”Axel blushed as he chuckled a bit. He hadn’t been able to spend time with her for a while now due to things he had to take care of at school and the big project he was working on. But now that he was less busy, he was going to make i
