She got up and passed by Dawn’s room slowly. The door was indeed open.
Dawn must have sensed her since she looked up and glanced at her.
“You need something, Ma?” Her hands hovered above the keyboard.
“Oh–nothing. Will he be staying here all day?” She pointed at Keenan with her puckered lips.
Dawn glanced at Keenan’s sleeping face.
