When classes ended, she called her mother to let her know she’d be delayed for a little while.
“Ma, I’ll stop by at Aria’s house. I’m having her and Valerie read the rest of the draft for me so I could check if I need to change something. It won’t take too long. They’re almost done with it.”
“Alright. Just let me know when you’re almost here so I can have Anita pick you up from the bus stop.”
“Okay. Ma..”
They then ended the call.
The rest of their friends got dropped off and the three of them went to Aria’s house.
