With his head slightly lowered, the green-skilled old Anito said this.

Ley who was busy gathering all faith and divine energy that he could to help alleviate his wound's situation was startled.

'Who?'

The Chief who cared not for the human Anito's reaction once again spoke, raising his head. "How are you doing Sir? I wish eternal might and life for the esteemed Goddess of the Sun." 

Ley saw that the other was facing his direction so he promptly turned around. When he did so, he was in the middle of wondering how the hell the newcomer came behind him without him noticing.

Were his injuries that potent in dulling his senses? Or was the disparity of strength between them that vast?

When he saw where the old forest fairy was looking, he was dumbfounded for finding nobody there.
