Madison and Sara walked into their apartment; Sara slammed the door shut behind them and let out a frustrated scream. "I'm going to quit this job, Maddy! I just can't work with that asshole!" she exclaimed, her voice trembling with rage.

Madison quickly sat down beside Sara on the couch, concern etched on her face. "Sara, calm down."

Sara's eyes blazed with anger as she recounted the events of the evening. "He broke my phone, Maddy! Can you believe it? And then he had the nerve to lecture me about being an attention-seeker. I mean, who does he think he is?" She spat, her voice venomous.

Madison listened attentively, nodding her head in understanding. "I'm so sorry, Sara. That sounds incredibly frustrating," she said, putting a comforting arm around Sara's shoulders.

Sara looked down at her broken phone, her eyes welling up with tears. "And now my phone is broken. How am I supposed to buy a new one? I'm already struggling to make ends meet," she lamented, her voice cracking with emotio

"Good morning, Sir!"Sara, on the other hand, remained silent, her eyes fixed on the elevator floor. She didn't even acknowledge Austin's presence, let alone offer a greeting.Austin's eyes narrowed, his ego pricked by Sara's deliberate snub. Austin struggled to regain his composure; Sara seized the opportunity to steer the conversation towards the project. Her eyes sparkled with a hint of mischief as she began to speak."After reviewing the project plans, I have to say that I'm concerned about the potential outcome. Despite the team's efforts, I believe there are several critical errors and miscalculations that could ultimately lead to the project's failure."The room fell silent, with all eyes turning to Sara in shock. Madison's eyes widened in alarm, and she gestured frantically for Sara to stop talking. But Sara was undeterred."I understand that this may not be what you want to hear, but I have to emphasize that the project's current trajectory is likely to result in significant financial losses for the company. As a construction company, we can't afford to overlook these critical issues."Austin's face turned beet red with indignation. "How can you say that?" he spluttered. "You don't know anything about this project

Since when did you start letting a girl get under your skin? And anyway, she's not trying to seduce anyone, unlike the women you usually...ahem...encounter."Austin's eyes narrowed, his gaze still fixed on the outside world. "I'll be at peace the day that girl is out of my company," he muttered, his voice dripping with venom.Christopher chuckled. "And I guess you'll have to wait for that day until she either makes a mistake or resigns herself. You can't just fire her, Austin. She's done nothing wrong."Austin puffed on his cigarette, his eyes flashing with anger. "I'll make her do that soon," he muttered under his breath. But Christopher didn't seem to hear him. "An

Sara and Maddy sat at a small table, eating their lunch and chatting. Maddy asked Sara, "Why is your mom so... old-fashioned? I mean, I know she wants the best for you, but some of her ideas seem so... outdated."Sara sighed, putting down her fork. "It's because of where we come from, Maddy. Tehran, where I grew up, is a different world. My mom... she had a really tough life."Maddy's eyes were curious. "What do you mean?"Sara hesitated, unsure of how much to reveal. But Maddy's kind face encouraged her to open up. "My mom, she was married off when she was really young. She had me when she was barely 18. And... she had a lot of miscarriages. Five, to be exact."Maddy's eyes widened in shock. "Oh my god, Sara. I'm so sorry."Sara nodded, her eyes welling up with tears. "It was really tough on her. And on me, too. We didn't have much, and my mom was always worried about my safety and my future. She became really protective, really controlling."Maddy reached out and took Sara's hand. "

The employee had already disappeared around the corner.Austin's face turned red with anger as he turned to Sara. "This is all your fault," he spat, his voice low and menacing. The room is filled with stacks of dusty files and papers, and a single, flickering fluorescent light overhead casts eerie shadows on the walls.Austin gestures to the files. "I need you to go through all of these and organize them by date and category," he says, his voice cold and detached. "It's a tedious task, but I'm sure you're up to it."Sara looks around the room, her eyes widening in dismay. "How long will this take?" she asks, her voice hesitant.Austin shrugs. "As long as it takes. You'll be working on this task exclusively until it's completed. And I expect it to be done perfectly."Sara nods, her shoulders squaring in determination. But as she begins to work on the task, she realizes that something is off. The files seem to be in disarray, and there are strange notes and symbols in the margins. As she delves deeper into the task, Sara starts to uncover a mysterious trail of clues that suggest somet

But to her surprise, it was Kevin, his face creased into a warm smile."Hey, Sara, I saw you were still in here, and I thought I'd check on you," he said, his voice friendly and concerned. "Do you need some help?"Sara hesitated for a moment, unsure if she wanted to accept Kevin's offer. But then she looked at her laptop, still refusing to cooperate, and nodded.
