Chapter Sixty-three

Eliana's Pov

Unlike other fights, there were no lingering looks, none at all. I kept my distance, not wanting anything to do with him anymore. I've accepted my fate. We could never work out. I would just be a good wife after the wedding, present for gatherings but absent in his life. It is not like he would notice my absence, he would probably fill the void with supermodels.

A part of me wishes we actually could work everything out but from the start, Noah and I have been too much for each other. He was either too hot or too cold and every time it affects me.

Things were too complicated, we weren't sure they were worth uncomplicating.

He doesn't bother glancing at me when he sees me and at one point, I stopped too.

But the space in my heart felt deeper than before.

Bella and Anna noticed my absence and they tried to invite me to many outings all of which I declined going to.

Till I heard Bella's stiletto heels echoing in the hallway.
