CHAPTER 8

The next day early in the morning Ari stops by my apartment to pick me up. We're having breakfast with Kathy and then a girls day out before she leaves for New York.

"Where are you driving to?" I ask Ari when she took the turn to the Alvarado manor.

"To the manor. Kathy's house." She says looking at me weird.

"I thought Kathy was staying at Ethan's hotel with Ethan."

"Yeah she was but they moved to the manor." Ari explains as she parks.

Kathy meets us by the front door, hugging us both in a group hug.

"You moved back home with Ethan." I ask.

"Yeah we did, daddy insisted beside we live in New York and its not like we'll be in L.A a lot. So whenever we're in L.A we'll just stay here. And ofcourse its huge enough for daddy, Lucas, Ethan and me, we don't even see much of each other." Kathy explained as we entered the dining room where Rosa had led out a feast and was waiting for us.

"So how was the honeymoon," Ari asked Kathy as we served ourselves and stared eating.

"Oh it beautiful and amazing. It was Everything." Kathy said with a smile.

"Ethan is amazing." She adds with a smile.

"Yeah I can see that, you're glowing." I say noticing how beautiful she looked.

"Yeah seriously babe, you look fantastic and I'm glad you and Ethan are happy. He's good for you." Ari says with a smile.

Kathy smiles and says "enough about me guys". "What's been going on with you guys."

"Andre and I have been having so much fun." Ari says with a smile.

"Yeah we know, how was Vegas last weekend?" I ask.

"I got pretty drunk, I don't think I can even remember the whole of what happened. We ran into Julie and Jake, Ethan's friends?" Ari says explaining.

"Yeah Julie told me, she said you guys had fun." Kathy says.

"But the new basketball season is starting so Andre is busy with training and stuff, I barely see him." Ari says pouting.

"So Since I have no work thinking of going to New York and visiting my mom and we could hang out." Ari says to Kathy.

"Yes please come, we could hang out with Julie." Kathy says.

"Yeah I think I will." Ari says excited.

"What about you Vee, you're so quiet today." Kathy asks. They call me Vee short for Vanessa.

"I've been pretty boring lately, I'm mostly excited about hearing about your lives." I say avoiding the subject about me.

"C'mon you're not that boring, what about Oliver?" Kathy asks.

"Oh we're officially on a break from each other, besides he's in New York. And honestly I'm even happy he's not here, I make a lot of bad decisions when I'm with him." I say as I sip my mimosa.

"What about working with Lucas?" Ari asks and I shoot her a don't look.

"Right I had forgotten you're working on that interview with Lucas, hope he's being nice to you." Kathy asks.

Oh he's being really nice, I think to myself having sudden flashbacks of us having sex in his penthouse.

"Yeah he's being nice." I say quickly composing myself, I don't know how Kathy will react if she knows I'm hooking up with her brother. Maybe she wouldn't even care but I still didn't want to tell her anything.

"So where's Ethan?" I ask changing the subject.

"You guys just missed them, he's somewhere around with Lucas and Eric Archibald, never thought I would say this but my husband and my brother and his best friend are hanging out together." Kathy says standing up.

"Let's go up to my room and see the honeymoon pictures." She adds as we all stand up excitedly.

"Yeah and you can tell us about the amazing sex." Ari adds.

Hours later we were done with the pictures and Kathy has filled us in on her amazing sex life. We were downstairs in the foyer waiting for someone to bring Ari's car around when Lucas, Ethan and Eric came out of the house.

Lucas looked as gorgeous as ever, he was laughing at something Ethan had said when he noticed us.

"Hey guys," Eric said waving at us.

"Hello," Ari said with a smile, I don't know how she does it but she's so good around gorgeous hot men while I'm the nervous one.

"Hello," Ethan said walking to and standing beside Kathy his wife.

"How was your day," Ethan asked again directing the question to all of us girls.

"It was good we had fun," Ari answered while I just stood there with an awkward smile.

Lucas didn't say anything to us, he barely even acknowledged us he just continued his conversation with Eric, and even though I avoided looking at him, I could feel his eyes on me the whole time.

Our car was brought around so we said our goodbyes to Kathy and left.

It wasn't until Ari had dropped me home, I checked my phone to see Lucas had texted me 30 minutes ago probably while we left the Alvarado mansion asking if I was home.

I quickly texted him, telling him yes but then he never replied. Maybe the moment had passed, I told myself when he didn't text back, call or came over.

But then late later at night around 1 am, he called. I answered the call not fully awake.

"I'm downstairs can you let me in," he said.

"Yeah sure okay." I said. I called the door man downstairs and told him to let Lucas in and then I opened the and front door for him.

I then went back and laid down in bed, before he came upstairs.

Few minutes later, I heard Lucas come in and get on the bed.

"Lucas?" I whispered, twisting my head to peer over my shoulder, but his face was covered by shadows. He was close though. His breath fanned over my shoulder, raising the little hairs on my arms. "What's--"

He silenced me with a fierce kiss that made me gasp. He didn't hesitate; his tongue claimed my mouth. I tried to roll over so I was facing his way, but Lucas's firm chest against my back and his tight grip on my hip kept me immobilized. His kiss sent waves of arousal down my center but eventually I pulled back to draw in a deep breath. He pressed his erection against my butt. I exhaled audibly. "I thought about you all day," he rumbled against my shoulder before he bit down lightly.

I trembled under his touch and moaned. It was all I managed, because I was suddenly so turned on and hearing him say he thought about me all day sent shockwaves down to spine.

Lucas growled before licking my throat. "Tell me to stop, or I won't."

I whimpered only in response because Lucas had dug his cock into my butt again. I couldn't wait to get out of my clothes and really feel him against me. I shoved my ass back for additional friction but again Lucas's hand on my hip stopped me. "No."

"Lucas, I really want to--"

His lips swallowed my words again and his fingers tightened in warning.

"I want you to be silent now unless you want to tell me to stop." He nibbled my neck. "You do what I tell you, Vanessa, or you tell me to stop. There are only these two options."

I nodded yes. I was just glad Lucas didn't know how turned on I was by his commanding tone.
