This was her dream to see all the mythical-- well, now real creatures in the books she always loved yet... it scares her.
"Don't be frightened, I'm a good one. I don't eat children." Dilly assured her.
Amorivia gulped. "I'm Amorivia." She was shaking in fear. The troll has a big rock nose and her hair was like of those vines Tarzan would grip on to when he swings.
"What a lovely name!" The troll smiled with her big teeth showing. "So, what is a lovely girl doing in these woods alone? You know this place is very dangerous for kids like you."
"I-I'm looking for Peter."
"Peter?"
"Yes, Peter Pan!"
Dilly started mumbling words that Amorivia couldn't understand at all. So she breathes in and gather the courage to ask, "May you teach me your language?" That way she won't be laughed at by the lost boy.
"Oh, dear! That will take you forever to learn our language," Dilly chuckled.
Amorivia looked down.
"But I would like you to try!" exclaims the troll that made Amorivia lift her head up and smiles sweetly.
"Oh, thank you!" Amorivia couldn't help but hugged the lady troll despite the ugliness of Dilly.
Suddenly they heard a rumbling noise that stopped their happy moment. Then Dilly immediately looked down to Amorivia with a worried look. "Quickly! Hide in my rock shell."
Dilly was like a turtle somehow. If a turtle's shell is covered with scutes that are made up of keratin then Dilly's is covered with a flat- rocklike surface made of different mixtures of minerals. Amorivia fit perfectly inside since Dilly kind of lost weight.
"Dilly! one of our guards saw the lost boy with a girl running in our woods. Have you perhaps seen them?" The chief of the Trolls asked her forced wife.
With her head held up high she answered, "Why must I care if random humans roam the woods? They are having fun."
Pesky gritted his big teeth and throw Dilly a glare. "You will never become the chief's wife!"
"I am not claiming the title and never will I," she bravely uttered.
Pesky's feature was clouded with madness to kill. Before he loses all control he turned to his men and commanded, "Seek for that boy with in our land. Once we find that lost boy, we shall see his captain!"
"Peter!" Amorivia accidentally yells.
Pesky turned to see Dilly with his hideous face. "Did I just heard you--"
"Run Amorivia!" the lady troll screamed, immediately, Amorivia shrink down from where she once came in. Before Pesky could even chase the girl, Dilly jumped to his husband and tackled him.
"Chase her!" the chief could only yell, his voice loud that made the birds on the tree branches fly away.
Amorivia on the run, thought her life ends here as she saw the big rocks rolling towards her. She could tell, if she don't run faster enough she'll lay flat and her organs would scatter all around. Her only hope is if Peter would ever come and save her.
Suddenly, her feet became too tired to keep running and her visions got blurry as waters started to come out from her eyes. Save me, Peter, is all she could think of.
Before she could even stumble down with her own feet, she was scooped high up in the air. Her eyes widened when she gazed the lost boy's face. "Y-you save me..."
The lost boy meet her gaze and smiled sweetly. "A great encounter, was it?"
Amorivia wrapped her arms around the lost boy's neck and cried. She almost died there! This wasn't Neverland! This was more of a deadly land!
When they reached the meadow again, the lost boy puts her down gently. "You should not run away on your own like that again."
"Tell me, is this even Neverland?" she asked.
"It is your Neverland."
"I don't get it, lost boy. If it's my Neverland it should be happy."
"You mean lonely."
"What?" She frowned. "Neverland is Peter Pan's happy place! You said he is your captain! You said you knew--"
"I know him." The lost boy cut her off. "He's the boy who ran away from home and lived with the fairies. The boy who returned expecting his mother would stay open the window for him but instead he saw a replacement. He's the boy who claims that he doesn't want to grow up when indeed he does so want to but just can't."
That shut Amorivi's mouth. She gets it now, this lost boy know of Peter from the book just like how she knows Peter from a movie but then... how could she explain the time when Peter brought her here? Or the time when the lost boy said Peter was his captain.
"This is not Neverland, is it? And why act like you know him?"
"Because when you get too lost in this world, you can hardly tell which is real and not." The lost boy's eyes darted at Amorivia. It was as if he was relaying a message through a stare.
This situation, like Amorivia had happened to him but unlike her, he knows what is what but pretends to not notice. From the looks of it, the girl had already forgotten her family. The more she forgets, the sooner she will have to go.
"Too lost... I'm already lost," she whispers.
"Don't forget who you are while you're in this world. Never forget your name as well," he told her and sat down the grass.
She did the same and stare at the bunnies far from them. "I'm sorry about running away. I just felt humiliated and I feel so confused in this world."
"Why did you come here in the first place?"
Amorivia thought hard for a possible reason but she couldn't know of any. Her head hurts trying to remember such reason why she was in this place. "I forgot."
This is bad, the last boy thought. He moved closer to her and cupped her face. "Peter Pan is the name you always mentions, so I'm guessing you didn't want to grow up."
Amorivia gasped as her eyes went round. The memory flashed her mind and that made her remember her family. Perhaps they are what she has been missing.
The lost boy let go of Amorivia and showed a grin. "Try to hold on of them as much as you can."
Those memories that flashed her head made her sad and lonely. They must be worried sick about me, she thought.
"Peter was probably lonely in his Neverland like you are in yours."
She turned to stare at him. "Why are you in my Neverland?"
"I'm a lost boy. I might've been lost in yours."
"May I ask you something?" Amorivia asked."What is it, Amorivia?"For the first time, she noticed the lost boy didn't add lady."Uhm... I heard the chief troll earlier. He said he would catch you and your captain."She heard the lost boys chuckle and it made her face him. He was looking at the big moon. "That wasn't even a question. That was more of a statement, Amorivia."Somewhat she feels comfortable now that he doesn't add 'lady'."Why was he after you?"The lost boy looked down and stopped sharpening his knife. "Why do you think Captain Hook was always after Peter?"
"What were you thinking!" Amorivia shouts at the lost boy. She was upset that he dove into the water and then kissed her!"I was trying to save you!" The lost boy reasoned."Trying to save me?! You kissed me!""No! I gave you air to breathe!"Their face were inches away from each other, both of them frowning and soaked. Amorivia's breathing heaved, her nose wrinkling and her mouth shut just glaring at the lost boy. He's doing the same exact thing."It's cold," she muttered. That's when the lost boy's face softened and realized she's shivering. "I should get you another clothes then."
After wandering the land, the lost boy decided to go back to the elves. He almost forgot about Amorivia."I wonder how her face will look like," he thought and giggled when an image of Amorivia all red in anger flashed on his mind. The moment he arrived, a little elf screamed of his arrival. A familiar lady with a decent dress had came running towards him. His proud smile had gone wider at the sight of Amorivia's face."You promise breaker! You said you'd come for me!" Amorivia yelled at his face.He leaned a little back. "Didn't I? I brought you here to get dressed. You were sleeping so I went out," he explained.Amorivia's eyes narrowed at him. "Put me in trouble again and I'm staying with the elves!"The lost boy knew she was mad but she looked cuter when she is."You've come back," the princess bowed down to him and he did the same."Yes, I won't be long. I'm going to take the lady with me too."What he said saddened
"Really? I can try them all?" Amorivia gasped. They were at the elf princess' dressing chamber and her highness had given her permission to try on dresses. Don't get her wrong, she has quite the number of dresses but they weren't as magical! The elf's dresses has glitters, silk were the finest she had touched before and the tulle made her feel like she's a princess."Are you sure this is alright?" she asked the elf princess when she's already getting dressed up by the maid elves."Unless you don't want to try the elves dresses.""No!" She yells, waving her hand in mid air. "I love the dresses that's why I am worried I might ruin it when we go for a walk."
The lost boy's eyes were locked on the lady's, his mouth slightly open. He seemed to have no answer, for the right one, he can never tell."I have a mission," he says. "I don't know precisely but the captain said I will know when it comes.""A mission. Do you think I'm in here too because of a mission?""Didn't you choose to be in here?""To Neverland with Peter not here with you."But of course an angel never lies. The lady did choose to be here. He should start reminding himself that his only concern is his name; nothing more and nothing less."Aren't you supposed to be in bed?" he questions, changing the topic.
It was getting dark when the lost boy decided it was time for some fun. He flew away from the branch and went to their neighbor elf houses. A big leaf he rolled to create a megaphone like thing."Every one!" he calls. "A witch has abducted the princess! Deep in the hunting grounds of Elovia! Quick we must track them down!"Elves were easy to trick if it involves their princess. It would be lovely if that evil princess learns her lesson. He is pretty sure that the goddess has worsen the curse. Now that every elf was heading towards the forest, he flew with them. Escorting them towards where the princess and his lady are."The witch!" he heard an elf shouts. The side of his
The elf princess and Amorivia has been walking for hours now while the fur ball and lost boy were happily flying. How un gentleman of those two to have kept them walking. They are on their way home, to the tree of life, where they'd plan their next escapade. Though Amorivia has nothing planned yet, she was certain she would find clues on Peter's where about. Also when they reunited with the princess, she didn't expect her to be uglier than what she had seen. If anything that happened is great, it's how the princess' attitude changed. She was more sweet, appreciative and more into her surrounding now."Can we rest for a while?" asked the princess."I'm also really tired already," she whines, sitting directly on the leaves,
Still catching their breathes, they managed to cross the river and into the other side of it, escaping the inescapable. They really thought that was the end of them."You!" the elf princess marched towards the boy. "What were you thinking?!"But the boy ran and hid at Amorivia's back, clearly terrified at the princess' face."Why are you with a goblin?!" he cries. What he said made the princess start cursing. She had to hug the princess before she could grab the foolish boy."Stop it, princess!" she said but it has no effect and she turns at the boy who was frozen."Did you just call her princess or was I out of my head
Amorivia was still crying even after entering the gates of the Seven Orb. She killed him. The Angel of Death warned her and now it's her conscience that isn't clear. "Hey, we had to do that. We needed to do that, Amorivia." Tenshi cupped her face and even though her lips were trembling, she has to look at his eyes to stop. She was still guilty on the inside and nothing can change that. "We are already here. All we can do now is go further and go home." And that she understand, nodding as Tenshi wipe her tears away. Inhaling, she started thinking straight while he holds her hand. Finally, they have a chance to go home but she knew exactly what was waiting.
The moon is rising with the stars slowly appearing, replacing the bright sun, bringing darkness in the land of Shi no Ji. Keisuke displayed a smirk, his eyes focused on the moon. When it shines the brightest like how he once saw it on the mortal world, it will be time to close the curtains. As soon as The Angel of Death feels the presence of the souls, he motioned his hand, letting the cube lift a little higher allowing the lady to see how he fights her friends. Not only that, his time is limited, only a few hours and they will figure out how to break the cube. If that breaks, he has to accept those memories once again. Keisuke waited for them to stand in front of him, he could already see their angry faces. How lovely they express their minds. As soon as they sta
Now that they've found out that the guardian of the next orb is The Angel of Death himself, they know their adventure is about to end. They wanted to go home to Saiva but unfortunately, the Altas was burned, must be from the lightning that struck Nisemono. "I'm sorry. I didn't think it would turn in to ashes," Nisemono apologized, scratching the back of his head. "We don't need that one anymore. Keisuke doesn't stay in one city, he will come whenever he wants to. What we need to do is be ready when he strikes, he's pretty tricky," Tenshi told them. Well working for the Angel of Death at first, he ought to know stuffs that Keisuke does. He often would visit the outside of his Sekai, maybe visits the Angels Realm or somewhere in the mortal world. Sometimes he would talk ab
As Nisemono got closer to the guardian's Sekai, he could hear the thunder and sees light flashing. It gave him the idea that Pika uses the lighting. Bravely, he steps inside the guardian's world. The inside is a plain, just flat with a leafless tree in the middle. There, he notices someone standing on a branch, wearing white clothes, facing him.The lightning and the loud rumbling of the sky doesn't seem to make the young man flinch. There is no doubting it, that someone in the middle is the guardian Pika. Nismeono waited for Pika to approach him but the guardian did not. No other choice left, he started striding towards that dang tree. Every step he takes, he ready himself for a lightning that could come striking. As soon as he was in front of the guardian, he stopped.
When the fairies heard of Amorivia getting her memories back, the King decided to prepare a feast to celebrate it. All of them gathered under the Sacred Tree where the fairies play their music, they also held hands, forming a circle while they dance. Everyone has sparkles in their eyes, shimmering as giggles filled the air. As soon as the fairies served alcohol on the table, Kitto and Amrak looked at each other, eyes wide. They know what will happen if they try to take one glass in. They look at their lady and the dangerous aura surrounding Selena and Arwha was there. "Don't even think about it, Kitto." Even though Arwha was smiling at him, he knows well that she is ready to beat him up any second if he puts his finger around that glass. "I was not thinking of it," he li
Just when Tenshi storm off to find Amorivia back in that maze, the guardian informed the others that Amorivia will lose her emotions for a couple of days. She was too weak to take the orb. In order for an orb to settle in a body, one has to have strong emotions. That is why she had to die with her memories. But if she gets stronger, there's a fair chance that her memory might return. With the rain pouring, they were given by the guardians some roof made of a big leaf to shelter them all. Every passing second, Amrak knows he was going to lose Selena and it is making him go madder. He's too useless, unable to do anything for Selena but cry. While the others were waiting, Tenshi was still in shock to see Amo
"You are an illusion," Nisemono uttered. "I know you can alter memories. That flying flower, it has your magic in it." Just after he said it, like a bubble, the illusion blew and replaced with a fallen petal. How cool it is if he could own the ability. Sadly, he knows it is not for him. Well, he has to continue with his exit. Selena as expected, was facing Tosh. She has been chosen by the green orb and with her magical bow, she was keeping up with the guardian. That training from the old man Pula really helped her in this battle. The fairy, Tosh, had the trees and thorns to control, he could also make the ground rise and make spikes out of it. Selena had to m
Their rest day came to an end and they were back to traveling again. It says on the map that they have to travel at least three days to arrive at the gates of the City of Wings. If only all of them could fly, it would be faster for them to be in front of the gates. But who would love to rush their deaths? From what they experience with Pula, there is somewhat an uneasiness in their minds, worrying at the possibility that they might end up in a reset. But in order to get home, they have to brush those worries away, fight for all their mights. "I was wondering," Amrak suddenly spoke, "Do you have any ideas what will happen after we gather the orbs? I know we'll go home but how does it do that?" They all stopped walking and looked at Amrak's way, blinking their eyes, thinking what the
The moment Amorivia's eyes opened, she saw an unfamiliar ceiling. It wasn't as nice as Saiva's ceiling design but it was not an eyesore. How funny it is that she's comparing ceilings rather than thinking where she is. Slowly she sits up and her eyes searched the room for clue. Looks like she's in someone's house, maybe the old man? She wonders why it was so quiet. Did she pass the training? She can't quite recall if she had but she remember making that messy garden a little more of a garden. Those roses! Their thorns hurts so much and she wasn't even given any tools by the old man! How inconsiderate! It took a lot of cuts to trim the darn roses! She looks down on her hand and noticed the bandages, even the cuts on her arms from that plants' branch. After a while, she stand up
