"What exactly do you need Taylor for?" Caddel asked, seeing Dante lead Taylor up to her room.

Ashley turned to look at him with a smile. The man brought Taylor to her which is a suspicious thing. After all, she knew it wasn't an easy feat to rescue a hostage from a witch.

But at the moment, she put aside her suspicion and replied, "Something really important. Thank you very much for your help, Caddel."

She turned and headed into the compound leaving Caddel out. Only when she was out of sight did the man realize he had been fooled.

He chuckled and walked out. But before he did, he looked towards the direction of the house where Marcellus had been watching him.

Marcellus frowned deeply seeing the lingering smile on the man's face. The feeling that something precious was about to be snatched from his hand tugged his heart painfully.
