She stood there speechless as the remaining two wolves disappeared bowing to black one while it stared at her. 

Miranda was scared of it, that it might jump through her window and rip her head off so she didn't dare move. She couldn't move.

The wolf stared at her for a few more minutes before finally taking his gaze from her and running into the forest, leaving her there, shaking in fear of what she had just witnessed.

She was able to pull herself from the side and almost ran back to her bed, she jumped up back to go and shut her windows, when she felt a bit safe and separated from what is in the forest she went back to bed and covered herself including her head, she closed her eyes tightly together so that she could sleep but the beats from her heart was thunderous and it didn't let her sleep, how is it even possible to sleep after what she just saw, it might hunt her in her dreams, she thought of keeping her eyes closed but it was as if she was seeing those eyes from the wolf again when even she closed her eyes, she opened her eyes praying that what she saw should be a night mare and she should wake up from it, but she pinched herself repeatedly but nothing changed, she was still in that state of chaos.

She thought of something that could make her sleep, like a song, she decided to try singing, she remembered one of the newest song she had memorized "I'm not scared of the dark"

she ended the song and sighed it was as if the song helped her relax, now her heart beats were healthier and her shaking had stopped.

Mira closed her eyes finally and felt sleepy again, ones she was calm she embraced the feeling and she drifted up to sleep.

Meanwhile, Alex from a distance heard her lovely voice and stopped his race in the forest, he stood and listen to it knowingly that she must have been really scared after getting a view of their figure, "she should get used to it, she will soon get involved" Alex thought

"Let's get going" Brian said to Alex as he noticed he stopped

"Give me a minute" Alex wanted to listen more to her singing, it was not loud but that's one of the gift a werewolf has, they could here from far distance without any strain.

"Let's go" he said when he heard the calm heart beats of his mates heart "I think she has finally fallen asleep" he said to himself as they left.

Caleb, Brain and Alex ran through the woods back to were they had packed their car, when they got there they turned back, git into the car and went back to the pack house, which took hours but Alex didn't mind because his thoughts were filled with his newly found mate.

When they got pack to the pack house, Alex absent mindlessly walked up the stairs that lead to his room, he was deep in thoughts about this human girl, she confused him, he couldn't read her just be seeing her, through out the time he watched her he couldn't place his finger on what she was thinking, 'she was very beautiful though' he thought, but she was fat, not that he mind, the problem was how he was going to accept a human when all his live he had lived disliking their kind.

On his way to his room he did know when he walked past his girlfriend, when she didn't get a reply, she followed him, as she was about saying something to him to draw his attention to her he shut the door on her face without noticing she was there.

His girlfriend Sophia stood there a little bit longer to see if he will open his door back but gave up on waiting, it seem something had happened and she couldn't guess what might have made his mood like that.

Alex went into his bathroom, he stood under the shower too long, he was still dwelling on the thoughts of his mate whose name he haven't figured out yet, he had his wolf calm too, he was waiting for the right time to bounce out and go get his mate, Alex came out of his bathroom when he felt his head had cooled off a bit, he laid back on his bed quietly and looked upwards, "what was she doing in the gym?" He thought "why is she human?" He asked no one in particular suddenly getting angry. The gentleness of her voice flooded his head, he paused and smiled without realising.  "she could sing so well" he mused.

Alex couldn't sleep all night, by the time daylight creeped into his room from his opened blinds. He he stood up and dressed up, he felt like going for a run, it might help clear his head, he wished he didn't have to think so much about her, it disgusted him that his interest is so pulled to the weak human girl.

"She isn't weak" his wolf said to him.  Leave it to his wolf to pop up at unexpected times.

"Humans are weak Al, meaning she is weak as her kind" Alex pressed on the fact. Unlike other werewolves, he had never bothered to name his wolf so they opted to simply share his name. 

His wolf didn't like the way he was reacting to the whole mate drama and was a bit stress with the idea of staying away from they mate.

"You haven't even met her, you're already stressed out" Alex said in his mind to his wolf, mentally rolling his eyes.

He changed and left the pack house for his morning run.

By the time he came back his mind was a bit lighter and he went to freshen up, dressed up for the day and went to his office like nothing had happened "are you deceiving others, or yourself" his wolf said to him

"Does that even matter?" he shrugged and replied

As he got drawn in the paper work he was doing, Caleb and Brian came in and brought up an idea of visiting his mate in the school she goes to because of course they went to make some research on their Luna.

Mira woke up the next morning, she didn't even remember what happened the previous night until she stood up and went to pick her affirmations book from her mini book shop as planned, she looked outside her window and stared waiting if she would she anything "it might have just been a dream" she said to herself and went back to seat down on her bed, she could see that she was becoming better at this self healing thing, she doesn't want anything to draw her back from reaching her full potential.

She opened her book and began reading to herself "Difficult times allow me to appreciate the good times.

"I forgive those who have hurt me" she held her chest and repeated "I forgive those who hurt me"

"I’m doing my best and that is enough" she beat her chest softly and repeated "I'm doing my best and that is enough"

"I have the power to create change" she said and a feeling behind her mind told her something was about to change, she thought it was her live at the town, unknowingly for her that it's her entire live as a human

"I know exactly what to do to achieve success" she nodded her head, she new it takes hard work to

"I choose to be proud of myself"

"I will not compare myself to strangers on the internet" she chuckled when she read this part because it's always her joy to stalk celebrities on the media and wish to live their lives.

Mira stood up and put the book back at her mini book shelves, she went into her bathroom for a quick shower, afterwards she dressed up for her day and ran down to the kitchen to meet her mum, she took a slice of the sandwich her mom had made and ran off to meet Lucie her best friend that was already waiting for her.

"Bye mum" she waved her off

"Hey, you look like you woke up late" Lucie said as she joined her inside the car

"Not really" She said 

"Well, I look forward to today's biology test" Lucie said

"I'm totally prepared for it" Mira replied and rested back at the car seat to eat her sandwich 

"What have you been up to" Lucie looked at her friend

"I've started therapy again" Mira sighed

Lucie thought abit about the new before she could say anything

"I'm happy for you, it seems like it's already doing a whole lot of work on you" Lucie said, she had noticed Mira wasn't sad this morning as usual, previous school days Mira will never for ones be happy that she's going to school that was what made her roll backwards on her academic performance, but today it's as if she's excited to take a test.

"Thanks, I hope it lasts" Mira replied

"Make sure it will" Lucie said to encourage the girl.

"Luke see you later" Lucie said as she got down the car

"Don't go anywhere after school I'll come and pick you up" Luke informed Lucie "Mira take care" he waved the girls and drove off

Before Lucie and Mira walked into the school they checked the time and saw that they were early, they decided to seat outside for a bit and talk about some other things before going to class and facing annoying people.

"What gist do you have cooked up for me" Mira asked, she's always backwards in the school updates on teen lives, but Lucie was a social one so she simply gets all the juices news from Lucie instead of talking to other people first before getting updates

"Okay, two girl were caught making out in the girls rest room last week, I thought you heard of it" lulu said

"My gosh, that..." Mira didn't know exactly what to say, bit the last thing she would do is judge them

"The head cheerleader dropped out lately, they suspect she got pregnant, but she said it's because her parents wants her to attend another school

"That's crazy" Mira said

"There's more, we suspect there's a kind of romance going on with our chemistry teacher and one of his female student" lulu said in whispers

"Oh my gosh, that's illegal" Mira said

"Well love does not cost a thing" lulu shrugged

"What if he is manipulating her and it's no romance but a blackmail" Mira said

"Hmm, that's not what I heard from my source, I don't really care" lulu said

"You know who the girl is?" Mira asked

"Nahh, my source said it's just a rumor no one knows who the girl is" lulu said

"It's just rumor then, nothing like that is true" Mira said

"Whatever, let get in" they stood up and went into the school
