Chapter 7

An Attack From Unknown Ninja's:

"You are my mother's sister?" Elena asked, surprised as she looked at Jess. Since Elena hasn't seen the face of her mother before she couldn't tell if Jess has a resemblance with her mother or not. But one thing is sure, while her mother has Purple hair like her, this distant auntie of hers she got to know recently has a bright shiny red hair.

"Yes Elena, I am her elder sister. I remember those days when we promised ourselves we wouldn't leave each other but in the end, she left." Jess responded to Elena's question with a sad tone in her voice. "She left us Elena."

Elena went back to seat not understanding what her aunt meant by 'She left us Elena'

"Auntie can you please elaborate more on what you mean by that?" Elena asked.

"You won't understand now Elena but you will get to when the time is ripe." Jess answered getting up to her feet. "For now just focus on your new school you'd be attending from tomorrow and your new environment." She added and made to leave when she was stopped by Elena's voice.

"When will the time be ripe auntie? I want to know if my mother is alive or dead, she cannot just disappear one day leaving me and my dad. If she is still alive and out there somewhere I need to know. I need to ask her some questions that have been bugging me since I learnt that she disappeared," Elena said, not knowing that she was raising her voice.

Jess smiled. "Elena, you will soon get to know the whole truth, I can assure you of that. I don't want to take you away from the world you know, the world which is normal to you right now. Your mother is a strong woman and I can also tell you are strong too. But know this, your mother chose her own path herself and I hope you will get to choose your right path unlike someone who got astray." Jess told Elena.

She couldn't tell her yet her mother decided to follow the wrong path because of her greed for power. She hopes Elena won't go along the path her mother chose.

Elena was more confused than before as the words of Jess kept ringing in her head.

What path is her aunty talking about that she has to choose? What kind of path her mother chose? And what world was her aunty referring to?

So many questions left unanswered but she didn't dare ask her aunt because something in her tells her, her aunt won't open up to her since she said it is not yet time.

"But is my mother alive out there please answer me only this question," Elena said pleadly at her aunt. "And please tell me my mother's name, I wish to know her name. My father won't even tell me her name."

Jess regarded the young lady in front of her slowly and then grinned. "I can't answer the first one today, maybe ask me some other time and to your second question, your mother's name is Annabel." She told her.

Elena huffed out a sigh and nodded her head. "One day you will tell me everything I need to know about my mother," She said and left for her room as Jess turned and stare at her niece retreating back.

One day you will get to know the whole truth Elena, just be patient.

Jess thought and left the sitting room. "Don't forget to start your house chores immediately ladies!" She shouted before entering her room.

Soon she hears the footsteps of the girls as they begin to sweep the house, clean and mop etc.

Hopefully Annabel, I pray your greediness doesn't land Elena in trouble someday.

%%%%% The Secret Princess %%%%%%

Julian drove into the large compound and parked his car, a Range Rover sport car in the car garage. It was morning and the sun was shining brightly. Opening the door, he stepped out from the car making sure it was locked, he made his way into the mansion stationed at the very end of the compound.

A servant opened the front door for Julian and greeted him which he neither ignored nor acknowledged.

He was greeted by the other servants as he made his way to his room. The AC was on as the whole house was chill. He entered his room and heaved a sigh of happiness as he looked at his room. His room  was decorated from the finest and most expensive tiles, bed, chairs, paintings etc.

Sitting down on his bed, he started pulling out his Timberland shoes when a knock interrupted him.

"Come in, the door is not locked," He said and the door opened to reveal his mother who came in and closed the door behind her.

"Where were you all through last night?" Rose asked her son.

"I went to a party I was invited to last night, so I stayed there all through the night mum." Julian answered and greeted her.

"You could have called me or your father to tell us where you are or who you are staying with since you won't be coming home," Rose said.

"I sent you a voicemail to the house phone, tried calling your number but it wasn't going and you know Dad won't like me staying outside."

"Julian, what do you really want to do with your life? We sent you to the best school in France, you are living large. So what do you really want or don't you want to join your father's business? Is this the kind of life you want to live all the days of your life?" Rose asked, waiting with rapt attention to listen to what her son will say.

"I will join dad business but not now. I want to explore the whole world first mum." Julian answered, widening up his arms as he said the three last statements.

"I see." Rose mused.

"Which makes me want to tell you and dad that I would like to go on a small vacation soon." Julian said smiling at his mum.

"A vacation? You just came back from Chicago two weeks ago and you are planning on taking another vacation?" Rose asked.

"Yes mum, i know all the whole ladies in this side of France we lived, I just want to go somewhere and sightsee things." Julian replied.

"Sightseeing or you want to find new faces to fuck. When will you change your playboy ways Julian?"

"I am not a playboy mother, I just don't like being in a relationship."

"Hmm, so where to, if I may ask?"

"To Paris."

Rose was surprised. " Paris the city of love?" At Julian nods she continued. "Why there or are you seeing someone already?" Rosa said and gasps out. "Don't tell me you have a girl who you want to meet there."

"No mother, I just want to explore every part of France and Paris came into my mind."

"Let me go and inform your dad. One day you will find a girl who you will fall in love with and you would do anything to keep her. You will change your playboy ways because of her, mark my words Julian," Rose said walking towards the door and opened it 

"Yeah you keep saying that whenever I want to go on a vacation."

"Who knows if this vacation might be different from others," Rose said, walking out of the room and closing the door behind her.

Eras Kingdom:

Waking up from sleep, Demon quickly took his bath and changed into a nice outfit of black jeans and balck T-shirt which showed out all his muscles, biceps.

Putting on his back boots he carried his bag and paused to look at the room once more just in case he forgot something important to him.

Seeing that nothing of his was there he left the room and walked towards the reception. Another female was there and Demon smiled at the lady who suddenly couldn't find her voice.

"Here are the keys to my room. I enjoyed my stay here," Demon said, dropping the keys on the table since the receptionist made no move to collect the keys from him. She was still in awe of his beauty. Demon winked at her and left.

He stopped a cab and told the driver to drive him to the airport.

Arriving at the airport, he paid the driver who thanked him for the huge sum of money he paid and drove off.

Entering the airport, he submitted his ticket he booked the night before and went to sit in the gatehouse with some passengers who are also waiting like him.

Soon he was inside a plane that was heading to Paris.

Landing, he collected his bag and came out of the airport, ignoring the looks he was receiving.

He stopped a cab and entered it and told the driver the hotel he will stay.

"Is this your first time in Paris sir?" The driver asked all of a sudden.

"Yeah, it is." Demon answered looking through his side window at everything they pass.

"I hope you will enjoy your stay here sir." The driver said and sped up.

He driverted into a road and drove further, away from the main road. Demon said nothing.

The cab stopped all of a sudden when they were beside an empty field. The driver tried to start his vehicle but couldn't.

"What's wrong with your car?" Demon asked.

He shouldn't have entered the car.

"I don't know sir my car just stopped and can't start."

"Let me see what I can do. Open your car bonnet," Demon said, getting out of the car and going to the front of the car.

The driver opened up the car bonnet and Demon started checking the engine.

A sword which flew in the air by some kick from behind Demon was seen coming and was about to strike his back when Demon stopped the sword with his hand. He turned around and saw more than twenty Ninjas in all blacks and they surrounded the cab.

With the way they hold their swords, Demon knows they are strong Ninjas. Good, he doesn't want to fight with a novice.

One of the Ninjas went to meet the driver and gave him a covered envelope which contained money. The driver collected the envelope with shaking hands.

"You brought the right person." The Ninja said. "You can go now."

The driver said his thanks and tried to start his car. He had pretended it had developed a sudden fault and he found out it couldn't start. He tried and tried but the car could not start.

Closing the car bonnet, Demon sat on it.

"I have disconnected the wire so you are going nowhere," Demon said to the driver in the car as he regarded the Ninjas. "I noticed you were up to something when you just drove in this direction. I saw their shadows before coming out of your car in pretence of fixing the car. My eyes are as sharp as eagles," He said loudly and put one of his hands in his pocket, bringing it out, and two Ninja Stars were seen. "So who wants to die first?"
