“ What really happened between you two?” Elora asked after Victoria had calmed down. She chose not to go after Roman because he was clearly raging and he seemed to be holding back a lot of things when they spoke, she thought it best to leave him alone for now.

“ When Alpha Drake captured the human’s during the war between werewolves and humans, he promised to take them to a place called the bridge where they would be safe. According to my mother, she said that a lot of them didn’t understand why he was offering them a safe haven but went anyway because that was way better than being murdered. Then, when they got to the bridge, they were told of the real reason he gave them that option. He wanted to breed humans with their disgusting kind.” Victoria explained.

“ That doesn’t sound like Alpha Drake. He hates mixed breeds.” Elora pointed out but it made Victoria laugh sarcastically as she said. “ That’s what he wants you guys to think but in reality, he is obsessed with mixing breeds. N
