Elora woke up the next morning and was surprised to find herself in bed but what she found more surprising was the fact that she felt different. She could hear discussions being made probably several miles away, she could smell things she didn’t even think had a smell, her eye-sight was incredibly strong and speaking of strong, that was exactly how she was feeling at that moment. She sat up on the bed and reached out for her phone. She was late for school but found no purpose in it, what would she learn at a place like that?

She was going to get a glass of water when she suddenly dashed to the kitchen faster than anything she had ever known, slamming against the fridge so hard that it fell. She expected her mother and probably Roman to rush to the kitchen but no one was in the house. Elora could not fathom how she was standing without feeling any pain at all neither could she understand why she could still hear Roman and her mother talking far away.
