FREYA

Becoming the ice wolf was a huge change, and it took me some time to get used to it. I spent many hours learning to understand and control these powers. But I used just as many hours of training to fight in both wolf and human form. I was not used to close-contact fighting as I was always trained to use swords, axes, and knives.

Jacob had asked for me to teach those who wished it, how to use the weapons I had. I asked Erik to help me, and luckily for me, he was happy to help. And a lot more wolves than expected wanted to learn.

So for now we have two teams each, and one of my teams was all women. Jacob had been worried about this and the women because most mates would do anything to keep their mate out of any possible fighting. But surprisingly many came with their mates, saying times are changing, and they should be able to train and protect themselves. And they are not wrong.
