FREYA

“Freya!” Jacob yells as he comes rushing inside the house shifting back to human. He looked around in the hall we were in, shocked.

‘I, I don’t know what happened.’ I whisper in our matebond. But he doesn’t answer. He is looking in the closets along the wall and finds a big blanket.

“Shift.” He tells me, and I do, and he wraps me in the blanket.

“Jacob, I.” I begin but he stops me by kissing me.

“You are hurt,” Jacob says as checks my side where the rouge had bit into.

“I was too slow, but I am okay, I think,” I tell him. But it is still bleeding

I remembered the small boy and rushed to open the door to the room where little Mike was. And ran into the room. The boy was sitting under a table, and I sat down next to him. Reaching out my arms to him and he crawls into them.

“Are you okay?” I asked the little boy, and he nodded his head.

“Yes, Luna. Thank you for saving me from the bad man.” Little Mike says.

“The rouges are running away. So we are safe.” Jacob tells me, and I stand
