“So, how did it go with Asher?” asked Louis once they met at the school hallway, and they walked towards the class together.
“Surprisingly well,” she responded. Esther was still in disbelief yet over the moon on how easily Asher went along with her.
She then added, “I thought he would at least make me desperately chase after him for two weeks.”
Louis chuckled.
“He wouldn’t be able to bear that,” Louis commented before questioning, “What did the two of you do?”
“We spent the night together.”
Just as she said that, Louis choked and stared at her with widened eyes. Seeing how he misunderstood made Esther shake her head and explain, “We just laid down beside each other. Nothing more.”
She then carried on, “We then went on a date by the ocean, had desserts, talked, and he taught me how to drive the car. Romantic, isn’t it?”
