Chapter 33 – A Flash From The Past

Lisa's POV

I searched his face trying to figure out if he was making a joke, but he looked serious. I decided to ignore what he had just said. I wasn't ready to awaken that part of my life now.

"Is your family really that bad?" I shift uncomfortably in my chair.

Before he could answer, a waiter brought our menu and took our drink orders.

I picked up the menu from the table and stared at it. I wasn't familiar with most of the foods listed on it. I would just have whatever Jonas was going to eat.
