Asher's POV

Lyra looked me in the eyes. I saw the look of hesitation in her eyes. I knew a part of her was scared of walking into the room with me. I knew that I had the same effect on her that she had on me. I was lost in how she smelled like, how she tasted and how she felt wrapped around me. The feeling was second to none and was very addicting.

Sbe was saying something and it seemed that I was also answering her, but I couldn't even begin to guess what was going on or what we were talking about.

I saw that she looked at my body and I suddenly realized that i had been standing in the way. She should've been able to walk into the room since, but I was standing in the way preventing her from walking in. I didn't realize I was so lost and if I hadn't realized such a thing, maybe Tristan would've seen us.
