Chapter Thirty Two

Remember when I said that I was going to face any dangers and protect my pack? In this case maybe I should've just shut up and stayed home like Mykel wanted me to. I didn't like the position that I was in. I didn't like the aura in the room amongst everyone who was standing around us. And I didn't like the way Mykel's distant uncle was staring at us with a deadly expression on his face. My palms were sweaty as I tried my best to remain still in my seat and not move too much to make any noise.

Upon arriving at the pack house everyone was already waiting for us to make an appearance. Clearly no one's expression was readable as we all followed Mykel to the lounge room. The air turned heavy as we all looked at the man who was seated across from Mykel's dad. Ryder didn't look anything at this point and his face held no emotions.
