Chapter Hundred and six

Lizzie's POV

The plan was for the night to be one of festivity, a time when the whole pack got together to enjoy the festivities. But my heart fell when I peered at Philip from a distance. It appeared as though I had vanished into thin air, overlooked amidst the celebrations.

Philip was busy showing our daughter Ana to the other members of the pack. As he carried her in his arms and shared sensitive time with her, his eyes twinkled with joy and satisfaction. The other pack members crowded surrounding them, embracing Ana, and showing her how much they cared.

It was a stunning sight, and my heart skipped a beat in joy for Ana. It brought us great joy to witness the pack welcoming our newest member into the fold. However, when a wave of melancholy passed over me, I was unable to shake the sense of loneliness.

I had anticipated that this celebration would provide me with a chance to reestablish my connection with the pack and close the distance that had grown between Catherine and me. Fi
