I knew something was up when I saw Nigel and Draydon walk back in after their little conversation. I knew Draydon had been entertaining the idea of him or one of the other dragons being bait to draw out Asmoday. I knew he had planned on talking to Nigel today about it. I was actually glad when neither came out with bruises or wounds. It was no secret that they didn’t like each other. I believe their mutual fear of my sisters kept the fight at bay. I could tell they were both thinking something, and I had a bad feeling that they had come up with a plan.

“Hey we need to talk to you, Rye, and Dimitri now,” Draydon tells me.

“OK where?” I ask.

“Not here. Somewhere without them.” Nigel says.
