One - Hundred Thirty - Seven: Wolves and Demons Darrius Thomas and I are sitting in Asmoday’s office. We are currently at his main holding facility. Thomas and I had to get the hell out of the pack about a week ago. The council had made their decision, and I was stripped of my Alpha title, and the two of us were going to be arrested. So we jumped ship and deserted the pack. I am sure by now that fucking Dustin has been granted alpha ship of my pack. That bastard. I know Mykenzie and Kylani had something to do with all that shit getting sent to the council. I called Asmoday within a few hours after the decision had been decided, and he came and got us. Being that we are two of his big suppliers, he had to save our asses. By now, they had captured Damien, Ian, and Marshall. With help from those fucking beasts of theirs, they had also found many of our temporary holding locations. Which also caused Asmoday to lose Haze. “That damn bastard. I knew he didn’t like dragons or
One-Hundred Thirty-Eight: Council Dustin When I got home that night from the office, Brighton was standing by the door. I wasn’t worried, but it was also not normal. We really should stop using that word around here. There is not anything normal about this pack or what happens around here. He pulled out a large envelope and handed it to me. I looked at it, and I became nervous. “When did it come?” I asked. “It was delivered earlier this afternoon by a member of the council.” He tells me. “I guess I should open it,” I say. He gives me a nod and says he will gather everyone. Everybody knew what I was trying to do. We still have no idea who sent the paper trail on Darrius to the council. We all had our suspicion but now proof. I hadn’t heard anything from the council for a month or more. I honestly thought that they let him off and would do nothing. I went and changed out of my suit and headed back down to the rec room. Everyone was there when I arrived, including
One-Hundred Thirty-Nine: Preparing for New Members Kaleb Stressful, that is what this week is going to be. Dustin got the letter yesterday that we will be taking over Darrius’s pack. This pack is not a big pack. It only has 400 members. With the land that we have and with that land, we have more than enough land. There is a small amount of land between the two packs that Dustin and I want to acquire. It is not owned by anyone. The land is for sale. If we can acquire this land, then our pack will be the biggest in the state. Thankfully there is not much going on here at work this week. “No chaperone?” Dustin asked. “Fuck off. No, she stayed home.” I tell him Kylani finally let me come to work without her coming with me. I am not sure how I convinced her, but I did. It did take a while, especially after the whole debacle of Trent and I end up on the island that they own. Jace showed me the video of what happened when they had to explain to Kylani what happened. Yeah
One-Hundred Forty: Official Transfer Chris Dustin, Kaleb, and I are standing on the stage as the council officially announces that what was the Blood Sky Pack is now the Silver Moon pack. I was surprised when Dustin asked if I would come for this ceremony. I am standing in the back, just off to the right of Dustin. I am watching the reaction to the announcement. Most seem happy and relieved that Darrius is no longer the Alpha. I can see a few that disagree with this idea. I know a few have left already to join other packs possibly or to turn rogue. The girls found out that almost everyone was excited about the change. They didn’t hear anyone outright say they hated this. They couldn’t find anyone that was plotting against Dustin. I could tell my sisters were still concerned even though they didn’t hear anything. Right now, none of the women is here. I wasn’t sure if Darrius or Asmoday had anyone watching the pack today. The ceremony only lasts like an hour. Now the three
One-Hundred Forty-One: Assessing the New Pack Brighton Ashton and I brought a few warriors, and we are assessing warriors of the new part of the pack. This is our second day here. So far, the Warriors have impressed me. They are conditioned well and seem to be very disciplined. The previous gamma showed us all the training levels and patrol rotations. So far, everything I have seen is quite impressive. We are currently in the training grounds watching the warriors train. They do have great training grounds. “A few of these guys look very cocky.” Ashton comments. “Yeah, I noticed that too,” I told him. “They need to be brought down a notch or two,” I say. We both look at each other. We have noticed that they don’t train their women as our pack does. When we asked, they said that none of the women wanted to train and that women were too weak to fight. I was dumbfounded. Seriously does anyone still think that way? I guess some still do. We told the head trainer and
One-Hundred Forty-Two: Construction Dustin Well, this last week has been a learning curve of epic proportions. Between a couple of guys smarting off to Mykenzie and Kylani and almost getting their hearts ripped out and realizing that all of the buildings and houses on the newly acquired pack land have to be completely rebuilt, everything else seems fine. New and old members are getting along fine. We did lose a fair amount of members who chose to leave for different packs. I knew that would happen. Hell, I was expecting it. I talked with Poseidon, and he set a meeting with the company he knew. I already had a couple of other companies I was talking to. I went with the company Poseidon knew, one because they are family and two because they get along with the girls. The girls were there when I met with the other two companies, and to say the meetings went terribly is an understatement. I really thought the girls were going to kill a couple of the guys. They guys were real a
One-Hundred Forty-Three: Captives Damian The three of us are still being held by the Silver Moon pack. I have no idea how long we have been down here in these cells. I have to admit that the cells are nice. They moved us to better cells. The alpha, beta, and gamma have been down here to talk to us several times. Chris comes to talk a fair amount as well. I have only seen Mykenzie and Kylani once. I am still not sure if that is a good thing or not. I really expected to see them more. “You think they will ever come to talk to us again?” Ian asks. “I don’t know. That knowledge actually worried me more than anything.” I answer. They didn’t take our bears away. Which I am thankful for. We are now able to walk freely around in our cells. They took the chains off a while ago. It was a shock when they told us they had turned everything over to Mykenzie and Kylani. No wonder everything we did was not working. “Do you think Asmoday knows who is really in charge?” Mars
One-Hundred Forty-Four: Captives Part 2 Marshall I really wish I knew what was going on. The three of us were moved to a new location today. They moved us into a cottage. The cottage has many security measures to make sure we don’t escape. There are bars on all the windows and the front door. I have to admit that this is nice. When they told us they were moving us, I was not surprised. When I saw where they were moving us to, I was surprised. We are free to move around anywhere in the cottage. Damian looked for a way to get out, but as predicted, the girls made that impossible. Not that I would expect anything less. “I wonder why they moved us here,” I say. “I don’t know, but it makes me very suspicious,” Damian admits. “I wonder who’s idea this was?” I ask. “I am sure the girls had something to do with this.” Ian comments I have no doubt that the girls are behind this. But why? They obviously are not happy with us. I can understand why. I can guarantee that n
